A Genshin Impact fan has shared a hilarious video that shows an Ayaka mod used instead a popular character from Devil May Cry 5. Kamisato Ayaka is one of the most powerful characters on the playable roster, and she was introduced back in the first Inazuma update alongside the Pyro user Yoimiya.
Genshin Impact's community is known for taking different characters from the playable roster and introducing them to other franchises such. A new post on Reddit shows that Ayaka has a superior sword technique even when placed in the world of Devil May Cry.
Reddit user MezoN3D7 has shared a DMC5 video in which they've replaced the model of a DLC character named Vergil with Ayaka from Genshin Impact. Fans seem to like this combination as the post gathered over 4k upvotes on the game's official subreddit. Many comments claim that even though the game features two completely different art styles, Ayaka actually fits in the DMC world in a weird way. One of the main reasons is probably the fact that she is also a very skillful sword user just like her brother Kamisato Ayato. Another reason could be the fact that the player also replaced the enemy models with Hilichurls which is probably the most recognizable enemy type in the game.
Some fans have pointed out that they would not mind if HoYoverse would add a sword character whose Normal Attack sequence would launch enemies in the air where they would finish their combo. A lot of fans have stated that Vergil's whole combat animations suit the five-star Cryo user from Inazuma. Ayaka is widely considered one of, if not the best DPS character in Genshin Impact, at least when it comes to dealing elemental damage.
Players who want to add her to their roster will, unfortunately, have to wait for a couple of months since she was recently featured in the second banner phase in Genshin Impact update 3.5 alongside another Cryo user named Shenhe. The two have great synergy since Shenhe's whole kit revolves around having as many Cryo users in her team as possible.
The two are usually combined with a Hydro character which allows them to trigger Frozen which is one of the best elemental reactions in Genshin Impact. It can completely immobilize a group of enemies for a couple of seconds and allow players to reposition themselves correctly to make sure their DPS rotation is as effective as possible.
Genshin Impact is now available on Mobile, PC, PS4, and PS5. A Switch version is in development.
