A Genshin Impact leak has revealed that a new character might soon join the Standard Character Banner. The primary way to obtain new characters in Genshin Impact is by pulling on the game's character banners. Currently, there are two types of banners: the Limited Character Banner and the Standard Character Banner.
The Limited Banner changes approximately every three weeks, while the Standard Banner is permanent, with the only updates occurring when HoYoverse adds a new character to it. The current Limited Banner in Genshin Impact features two long-awaited five-star units: the Pyro Archon Mavuika and the Cryo user Citlali.

Genshin Impact's Standard Character Banner is much less popular within the community, primarily because characters from this banner can drop when players lose 50/50 on the Limited Banner. Fortunately, HoYoverse has made multiple attempts to make this banner more appealing by expanding the pool of characters available. A new post by Genshin Impact leaker FlyingFlame has revealed that a character named Mizuki may join the Standard Character Banner. Over the past few days, multiple leaks have suggested that Mizuki will be the next five-star character to join the roster after Mavuika and Citlali. So far, there are no official announcements, but given the number of recent leaks, Mizuki is highly likely to debut in Genshin Impact Version 5.4.

The leaker also revealed that Mizuki will be a support character in Genshin Impact whose kit scales with Elemental Mastery, which is unsurprising since she is rumored to be a new Anemo user. The rumors about Mizuki joining the Standard Character Banner also suggest that she will be a new five-star unit.
Regarding her playstyle, recent Genshin Impact leaks have revealed that Mizuki could be a mix of Wanderer and Venti. Similar to Wanderer, Mizuki will reportedly be able to float above her enemies and use her catalyst to deal ranged AoE damage. Additionally, she will be able to group up enemies and create special on-field items called Snacks, which can either explode or heal, depending on her teammates' HP levels.
If HoYoverse continues its pattern of adding characters to this banner, Mizuki will likely first appear on the Limited Banner in Version 5.4 before joining the Standard Banner in Version 5.5. Based on Genshin Impact's usual update schedule, players can expect Version 5.4 to arrive around February 12, while Version 5.5 should launch around March 26.
