A Genshin Impact leak has revealed a gameplay video demonstrating the synergy between the new five-star Mizuki and three other characters. With the release of the Natlan region, Genshin Impact has been introducing at least one new character per update, with Mavuika and Citlali being the most recent additions.
Even though Genshin Impact Version 5.3 started just a couple of days ago, leaks have already hinted at roster additions for the next update. Most of the leaked data comes from the game's beta phases, which start approximately six weeks before the update goes live.
Genshin Impact Leaks Mizuki's In-game Model
A new Genshin Impact leak reveals the in-game character model for the upcoming 5-star Mizuki who is expected to arrive in update 5.4.
A new post on the Genshin Impact Leaks subreddit has revealed an in-game video showing how well Mizuki performs when paired with Mavuika, Furina, and Kazuha. Over the last couple of days, multiple leaks have suggested that Mizuki will be a new five-star Anemo support who performs well both on and off the field. The video shows that Mizuki is a great fit for this team composition, as her Elemental Burst continues dealing damage periodically even when she is swapped out. This means that to use Mizuki to her full potential, players only need to deploy all of her skills and then switch to another support or DPS unit in Genshin Impact. In this team composition, Mavuika serves as the main DPS, while the other three form an extremely powerful support cast.
Genshin Impact: Mizuki Kit Explained
Many players suggest that, based on previous Genshin Impact leaks, Mizuki's kit will revolve around her Elemental Burst, which creates on-field effects that pull in enemies and deal AoE Anemo damage. The burst will also summon a creature called Mini Baku, which follows the active character and generates on-field effects called Yuemikaze Specialty Snacks. Picking up these snacks will either heal a character or cause a powerful AoE explosion, depending on their current HP levels. If these items are left on the field untouched, they will presumably dissipate or have a delayed effect.
Many fans claim that it’s exciting to see Mizuki synergize so well with Kaedehara Kazuha, who is widely considered the best Anemo support in Genshin Impact. The fact that Anemo is a neutral support element could allow players to use Mizuki and Kazuha as their supports while rotating the other two characters in their party.
While HoYoverse has yet to confirm Mizuki's official release date, the fact that she is part of the current beta strongly indicates that she will be included in the upcoming Update 5.4. If HoYoverse follows its usual update schedule, players can expect Genshin Impact Version 5.4 to arrive mid-February.
