Narzissenkreuz Ordo is a massive part of Genshin Impact Fontaine's history, and although most of its members have already passed, there are still some remains of the organization. After meeting the three aforementioned people, Genshin Impact players will automatically earn the Search In The Algae Sea quest, which eventually demands Travelers to solve the Meteoric Lance Orthant's puzzle in Genshin Impact.

Meteoric Lance Orthant’s Puzzle In Genshin Impact
The Meteoric Lance sub-quest is the second Orthant’s puzzle Travelers will have to solve during the Search In The Algae Sea Quest in Genshin Impact. Solving the Meteoric Lance Orthant’s puzzle requires players to fix two blocked water-colored energy channels. The puzzle is found inside the Fort Charybdis Ruins Orthant of Wishes.
Upon entering the Fort Charybdis Ruins Wilderness Cavern, players will encounter a few enemies that they can ignore or defeat. Then they need to choose the “Life” option to answer the Cavern slab riddle and continue their path.
Next, people must solve a Vertical Lifting Column and Eliphas Beam mechanic to arrive at the Orthant of Wishes location. To solve the mechanic puzzle in Genshin Impact, do the steps below.
- Defeat the Area Alert Mek to free the Beam Receivers
- Interact with the energy of the Xenochromatic Ball Octopus from the stairs’ edge
- Use the Octopus ability to rotate the Eliphas Beam toward the Lifting Columns
- Lift the first Column until it aligns with the Eliphas Beam
- Use the Ball Octopus power to lift the second Column and align it with the Beam from the first Column
- Wait until the Lifting Columns Beams reach the Beam Receivers
- Take the unlocked lift to arrive at the Orthant of Wishes location in Genshin Impact
How To Solve The Meteoric Lance Orthant’s Puzzle
To solve the Meteoric Lance Orthant’s puzzle in Genshin Impact, players must:
- Defeat the Annihilation Specialist Mek
- Hit the crystal to open the closed door
- Pass through the door
- Get a Bow Genshin Impact character and hit the crystal again to open the second door
Follow the quest marker to arrive at the Orthant’s puzzle location, then go to the eastern side to locate a Lifting Column mechanic. To solve it, take the Octopus abilities from the machine and use it to lower the left Lifting Column first. Next, move the right Column since the left one is much slower than the right one.
Solving the mechanic will open the gate that leads to the Energy Flow mechanic lift. Defeat the Mek guarding the lift and then:
- Use the lift to go down
- Take the Octopus abilities from the machine
- Rotate the Feather Valve with the ability to align the energy flow with the channel
- Release the energy from the pillar
- Follow the energy flow’s path
- Take the lift up and release the energy from it
- Open the gate to free the roaming Seelie, then follow it
- Dive and borrow the Hunter’s Ray ability in Genshin Impact
- Use the ability to defeat the underwater Meks and free the Octopus
- Borrow the Octopus Ability
- Rotate the two Feather Valves to align the energy flow with the channel direction
- Retake the Hunter’s Ray ability and cut the Seagrass with it
- Use the lift to take the Energy Flow mechanic up
- Release the energy
- Check the large machine in the middle
- Collect the Luxurious chest
