A Genshin Impact leak has revealed more details about one of the most anticipated characters, Mavuika, also known as Natlan's Pyro Archon. Genshin Impact's Archons are extremely powerful characters who are usually hundreds, if not thousands, of years old, and they serve as the main protectors of their respective regions.
So far, developer HoYoverse has introduced five Archons to Genshin Impact's playable roster, meaning that two are yet to become playable characters. With the addition of the Natlan region, players can expect a new Archon to join the roster in the foreseeable future, especially since she has already made an appearance in the main storyline.
Genshin Impact Leaks Important Details About Snezhnaya
A new Genshin Impact leak reveals a lot of interesting information about Snezhnaya, the only major region yet to arrive in the game.
A new post by a credible Genshin Impact leaker named hxg_diluc contains a couple of interesting details about Mavuika. According to the leak, Mavuika has been described as the "Pro Max" version of Dehya, suggesting that Natlan's Archon seems like an upgraded version of the Flame-Mane. Dehya is a controversial Pyro DPS who arrived in the second part of the Sumeru arc. Multiple rumors suggested that her kit being underwhelming at release was the main reason why HoYoverse decided to make her part of the permanent Standard Character Banner. Some fans in the comment section claim that Mavuika could become what Dehya should have been. This comparison between the two characters could hint that Mavuika will be a Pyro DPS unit in Genshin Impact.
Genshin Impact: Mavuika's Kit Explained
If HoYoverse follows a similar pattern as with all the previously released Archons, players can expect Mavuika to be a very flexible character who can fit into many different team compositions. Previous Genshin Impact leaks have revealed more details about Mavuika's kit. Her Elemental Skill will apparently apply a buff to the active character, delivering a follow-up Pyro attack for a set duration. This skill also has a hold variation, and it infuses Mavuika's attacks with Pyro damage.
Mavuika's Elemental Burst seems simpler, as it performs a coordinated attack, dealing Pyro damage at a two-second interval. Leaks also confirmed that her kit will be tied to the Nightsoul system, which is exclusive to Natlan's playable characters. When it comes to Mavuika's release date, credible leakers have suggested that she will probably be part of Genshin Impact Version 5.3.
Assuming she will be part of the first banner cycle, Travelers can expect Mavuika to arrive around January 10. The only confirmed information about Mavuika's release is that she won't join the roster in the upcoming Genshin Impact update 5.1, as HoYoverse has already revealed that Xilonen will be the only new five-star character.
