Genshin Impact has finally made Mavuika, the Pyro Archon, a playable unit in the game. Wielding a claymore and her impressive Pyro abilities, Mavuika is a force to be reckoned with, as evidenced by her famous battle against Capitano.

For players looking to add Mavuika to their team, a few trips around her homeland will be necessary. Mavuika uses many different Natlan materials in her ascension and talent upgrades, warranting some time spent in Ochkanatlan, Toyac Springs, and more.

Archons, much like their subjects, require a whopping 8,362,650 EXP to reach level 90. This will also cost an eyewatering 1,673,400 Mora. Here's how that breaks down between each ascension threshold:

Mavuika Ascension Materials

Mavuika is seemingly the narrator of the Agnidus Agate description, and she'll also need to use it to ascend. Other than that, she'll need a handful of different items found only in Natlan, as well as some Mora.

It's no secret that Mavuika is an extremely talented Archon. She has three talents that are upgradeable, as well — her Normal Attack, her Elemental Skill, and her Elemental Burst. Here's what's required to do so.

Gemstones - Where to Find Agnidus Agate

All Pyro characters — even the Pyro Archon — use Agnidus Agate in their ascension. Luckily, it's fairly easy to find. Much of it will come from bosses, though there are other ways of obtaining it as well.

Boss Drop - How to Get Gold-Inscribed Secret Source Core

Mavuika shares some of her ascension materials will really iconic ladies, including her regional specialty with Chasca. Likewise, she'll share her boss drop with Xilonen — the Gold-Inscribed Secret Source Core. This item can only be obtained by defeating the Secret Source Automaton: Configuration Device boss, found in Toyac Springs.

Be sure to bring a unit that can climb or jump up the pillars the boss creates, such as Mavuika herself, Kazuha, Kachina, or the aforementioned Xilonen.

Enemy Drop - Where to Find Tribal Warrior Whistles

Players who have spent a bit of time in Natlan have likely faced off against many tribal warriors. These warriors, when defeated, can drop whistles, which are used in Mavuika's ascension. At higher levels, these warriors are capable of dropping higher-level items:

Sauroform Tribal Warriors are found basically everywhere in Natlan, with the exception of Ochkanatlan, where most people are not permitted.

Talent Books - Contention

The Contention series of talent books can be used to level up Mavuika's talents. Find it in the Blazing Ruins domain on Monday, Thursday, or Sunday.

Trounce Materials - Eroded Horn

There's a new trounce boss released alongside Mavuika: Lord of Eroded Primal Fire. This trounce boss is the only one capable of dropping the Eroded Horn item when defeated, which is used for the upper levels of Mavuika's talents.

Unlock this boss by finishing the Natlan Archon Quest section called When All Becomes a Monument in Chapter V: Act V - Incandescent Ode of Resurrection, or use the Quick Challenge feature that's unlocked at AR 40 — though Quick Challenge only lets you fight the boss in single-player mode. For co-op runs, you'll need to unlock the trounce domain the normal way.
