What To Expect In Genshin Impact 3.7 Version Update
The upcoming version update, appropriately named "The Duel! The Summoners' Summit!" Places a strong emphasis on expanding the Genius Invokation TCG with a plethora of new cards for players to acquire. This presents an exciting opportunity for players to experiment with different team compositions featuring their beloved characters. Additionally, the update will feature the highly anticipated return of four 5-star characters: Yae, Yoimiya, Alhaitham, and Kazuha.
Joining them in the first banner alongside Yae and Yoimiya is a new 4-star Dendro sword character from Inazuma named Kirara. Kirara's abilities revolve around creating damage-absorbing shields and dealing AoE Dendro damage, making her a valuable asset for teams focused on Dendro reactions. Furthermore with her Elemental Burst she gets into an unique state which is additionally convenient for climbing and exploring.
In addition to the aforementioned updates, players can look forward to a series of new events in the version 3.7 update. The highlight event of the patch will revolve around the Genius Invokation TCG, introducing certain limitations while also offering additional mini-games such as a gear puzzle mechanic one that will surely captivate players. Players will be able to obtain Primogems, other rewards and a new 4-star bow named Ibis Piercer. Alongside this main event, there will be several returning events that offer additional opportunities for rewards and enjoyment throughout the update. Players will also be able to play through the Act 2 of Yoimiya's story quest and Kaveh's Hangout Event.
While this particular update may not introduce a large amount of story or exploration content as the game progresses towards the conclusion of the Sumeru arc and approaches the Fontaine arc, there are still plenty of reasons for players to be excited about the upcoming content. In fact, players even get to see an upcoming future playable character Charlotte during the next version update and even in the livestream.
Genshin Impact is available now for PC, PS4, PS5, and mobile devices. A Switch version is in development.
