A recent Genshin Impact leak is teasing upcoming five-star character Xilonen exploring the game's overworld, showing off the unique movement mechanic within her kit. The release of the HoYoverse RPG's sixth playable region, Natlan, has brought a variety of new movement options for players, both within its new characters and new regional mechanics. Each Natlan character features their own special type of movement and Natlan also saw the introduction of Saurians as Genshin Impact's in-game mounts. A new leak is now showing off the next character's unique movement.
Genshin Impact's newest region has brought a variety of different styles of movement through its initial launch characters. Each member of Version 5.0's trio of playable characters features a unique movement ability attached to the new Nightsoul Blessing mechanic, offering unusual styles of movement. Kachina can use her Elemental Skill to ride Turbo Twirly to quickly scale cliffs and mountains, while Mualani's Sharky Surfboard allows her to ride atop bodies of water. Now, Xilonen's overworld movement ability is being shown off in a new leak.
Genshin Impact Leak Shows Xilonen Exploring the Overworld
A recent video shared to the Genshin Impact leaks subreddit via prominent leaker Dimbreath is showcasing Xilonen traversing Genshin Impact's overworld. The leak shows Xilonen's unique movement attached to her Elemental Skill, donning roller skates to quickly coast around the overworld. The video features several unique flashy effects associated with Xilonen's movement abilities, performing a flip when she jumps while riding her roller skates. Past leaks have also hinted at the duration Xilonen will be able to ride her roller skates, with the ability reportedly capping at 9 seconds.
While the newest leak teases Xilonen's speedy movement around Genshin Impact's overworld, leaks have already begun to hint at the rest of her gameplay. Xilonen is currently expected to play the role of a sub-DPS or healer in Genshin Impact teams, with her abilities both dealing Geo damage and healing her teammates. Leaks have also hinted at major buffs attached to Xilonen's Constellations, with her C2 upgrade providing buffs based on the elements of other characters in her team. Xilonen will release with the Version 5.1 update, currently scheduled for October 9.
Xilonen's launch comes as Genshin Impact had already teased plenty of future characters coming to the game ahead of Natlan's release. HoYoverse's "Ignition" trailer showed off a plethora of characters beyond the initial lineup, including Pyro Archon Mavuika, Citlali, and Iansan among others. Past leaks from the RPG have also teased other characters from previous regions potentially coming during the Natlan cycle, with Liyue's Madame Ping being the subject of several rumors. Natlan looks to have a plethora of unique and powerful characters on the way for Genshin Impact fans.
