A Genshin Impact leak is revealing the gameplay for a new in-game boss set to arrive to the popular RPG during the Version 5.1 update. The addition of Genshin Impact's newest region has already introduced multiple new enemies for players to challenge, both with a variety of mobs around Natlan and two new bosses. Version 5.0 saw the addition of two world bosses for players to challenge throughout Natlan, with both the Goldflame Qucusaur Tyrant and the Gluttonous Yumkasaur Mountain King making their debut. Now, another new boss is coming with the game's next update.
HoYoverse has regularly added bosses to Genshin Impact, expanding the selection of in-game challenges alongside its roster. New bosses introduced to Genshin Impact typically accompany the addition of new characters to the playable roster, with players required to defeat them in order to obtain Ascension materials. Genshin Impact currently features 32 different world bosses found throughout the game's six playable regions, alongside 10 weekly bosses. A new video shared by Genshin Impact leaker Flying Flame is showing off the gameplay for a brand-new boss coming in Genshin Impact's Version 5.1. The leak shows a robotic boss with multiple inter-connected limbs, utilizing Electro to bind its body together and fire various beam attacks at the player. The video showcases the main mechanic in the fight as well, with the robot boss creating several pillars that players can likely interact with in order to weaken or stun the enemy. Genshin Impact's Version 5.1 update is currently expected to launch on October 9.
The addition of a new world boss to Genshin Impact's Version 5.1 is part of a plethora of new content planned for the update. Leaks have already teased the main event for Version 5.1, seeing players return to the Sumeru region for the annual Sabzeruz Festival, alongside the next chapter of the Archon Quest. Genshin Impact's newest game mode will receive an update during Version 5.1, with the Imaginarium Theater rotating in new bosses and characters to its lineup. Natlan is also rumored to be seeing a new expansion to its map during the patch.
