Recently datamined files from the Genshin Impact beta imply that the Sustainer of Heavenly Principles, also known as the Unknown God, could be making an appearance in Version 5.7. The Sustainer of Heavenly Principles is only featured in the opening scene of Genshin Impact, separating the Traveler from their twin, and thus setting the events of the game in motion. Her limited presence in the story has done little to diminish her importance, as players have waited for an eventual confrontation with the Sustainer of Heavenly Principles.
Over the course of their journey across Teyvat, the Traveler and Paimon have slowly peeled away the mysteries of the world, opening further questions about the state of Celestia and the Heavenly Principles. Not only has Celestia remained silent since the fall of Khaenri'ah, but it has also allowed one of the seven reborn Dragon Sovereigns to reclaim their power. Following the events of Natlan in Genshin Impact, Celestia's authority was once again put into question, and all signs point that the Traveler will get an explanation soon.

According to Miruko Real, Version 5.7 added new texture files for the Sustainer of Heavenly Principles, referring to her teleportation ability from the game's prologue. It's important to note that leakers and dataminers don't have access to any story spoilers, and that players should draw their own conclusions about what the texture files could mean. At the very least, they imply that the Heavenly Principles in Genshin Impact will make some appearance in Version 5.7, but this could also mean a flashback rather than a new scene.
Genshin Impact Could Feature the Unknown God Again in Version 5.7
While not much is known about the Archon Quest in Version 5.7, datamining has revealed that Dainsleif will play a major role. The patch will also feature a Story Quest for Skirk, as well as NPCs with unfamiliar clothing. Whatever the case may end up being, the Traveler is guaranteed to witness major lore reveals in Version 5.7, as Genshin Impact sets the stage for Nod-Krai.
