The leak shows a zoomed out overhead map of Natlan's playable landscape, with an area circled in a body of water to the northwest said to be home to a new Natlan expansion. While UTeyvat did not specify what would be coming within the area, fans have heavily speculated that the location may be home to the long-rumored Mare Jivari. The leak did not give a release window for when the new area would be added to Genshin Impact's playable boundaries.
The potential addition of the Mare Jivari to Genshin Impact's playable map comes as the mysterious location has already been referenced multiple times in-game. Some of the earliest references to the Mare Jivari come alongside Anemo Archon Venti's Story Quest, with famous Mondstadt adventurer Stanley said to have perished there.
