Recent Genshin Impact leaks have revealed new enemies and local legends that players will encounter in Natlan. Genshin Impact version 5.0 will introduce an all-new region, Natlan, that players will find in the west of the Sumeru desert. This nation will be governed by the Pyro Archon and feature some characters, such as Mualani, Kinich, and Kachina.
Like Genshin Impact's Fontaine and Chenyu Vale, Natlan will host various enemies and local legends that possess unique abilities. These hostile mobs will be spread across the map, which is as large as Sumeru's map. It's safe to assume that some local legends will be hidden in locations like caves and mountains. Genshin Impact players will hunt them to collect chests and achievements.
Several Genshin Impact leaks from HomDGCat have given players their first look at Natlan-based enemies and local legends. According to these leaks, the Natlan region will host five new mobs, including Godflame Qucusaur Tyrant, Gluttonous Yumkasaur Mountain Lord, Foliar-Swift Wayob Manifestation, Eroding Avatar of Lava, and Secret Source Automaton: Hunter-Seeker. They will allegedly have unique abilities; for example, Secret Source Automaton will unleash a cluster laser, while Eroding Avatar of Lava will absorb thermal energy to survive.
Genshin Impact Will Introduce New Local Legends
Genshin Impact's Natlan region will reportedly host two local legends, called Capybara and Tortoise. Details about these mini-bosses are scarce, but players can expect them to be more powerful than regular enemies. It's safe to assume that Capybara will be found near rivers, while Tortoise will be located in mountainous or green areas.
Another Genshin Impact leak from the same source has suggested that players will awaken Natlan's local legends by touching totems. They will allegedly use these totems repeatedly after killing the target.
Local legends in Genshin Impact are mini-bosses found in Fontaine and Chenyu Vale. Like other enemies in the game, they have their own weaknesses and attack patterns. Defeating these creatures unlocks a hidden achievement and a chest that grants players Primogems.
Aside from local legends and regular enemies, Genshin Impact will add new characters in version 5.0 next month. These characters, such as Mualani and Kinich, will be based in the Natlan region.
