A new Genshin Impact leak disclosed information about Mualani's kit, suggesting she is a Hydro-based DPS unit. A few days ago, Genshin Impact launched drip marketing campaigns for version 5.0 units, Mualani, Kinich, and Kanicha, without giving any details about their skills. Luckily, several reliable leakers provided information on characters' skills, teasing what their role within the team might be.
Like Kinich and Kanicha, Mualani is from Genshin Impact's Natlan region. She is a member of the People of the Springs, a mysterious group that serves as a guide to the people of Natlan. As seen in her drip marketing campaign, Mualani has a Hydro-themed outfit that consists of a swimsuit, a pair of white gloves, and a blue bandana. She rides the waves in the sea using a surfboard and guides the people of her nation.
A recent Genshin Impact leak from FouL has given details about Mualani's kit, which delivers a degree of Hydro damage. Mualani's Elemental Skill allows her to ride on a shark and enter the Enhancement state. In that state, riding a surfboard (shark) increases movement speed and grants immunity to fuel elemental damage. Moreover, her normal attacks are converted to Shark Bite, dealing water damage based on her max HP.

As per the leak, players will need various materials, including Crown of Insight, Lightless Mass, Teachings of Contention, Philosophies of Contention, and Sentry's Wooden Whistle, to upgrade Mualani's three talents. Like Genshin Impact's Kinich, the Hydro-based unit will have a five-star rarity. She will likely make her playable debut in the second phase of version 5.0 later this year.
In addition to playable characters and their weapons, Genshin Impact version 5.0 will introduce a variety of content, from events and story missions to explorable regions.
