A new Genshin Impact leak has revealed a video showcasing the in-game model of a recently revealed character named Skirk. The ongoing Fontaine storyline has introduced tons of new content including new quests, items, enemies, NPCs, as well as new playable characters.
As Genshin Impact players travel the world of Teyvat in the quest to find their long-lost sibling, they encounter a multitude of unique characters and get to know their stories. While many of these individuals have already become part of the playable roster, there remains a significant number of characters who are yet to step into the main spotlight.
A new Genshin Impact leak has revealed the complete in-game model of a brand-new character named Skirk whose story is closely related to the 11th Fatui Harbinger Tartaglia, also known as Childe. The official storyline revealed that at a very young age, Tartaglia was taken as an apprentice by Skirk in the Abyss. Skirk was responsible for teaching Childe all of his combat skills which made him one of the most powerful fighters in all of Teyvat. Even though he was searching for years, Tartaglia had been unable to locate his former teacher for a very long time.
Skirk was described as a very powerful swordswoman which could indicate her weapon type if she ends up becoming a playable character in Genshin Impact. She is said to live in an ancient, dark realm in which time flows differently. While her ties to the Abyss Order are still unclear, the fact that she managed to survive for so long is a testament to her formidable power.
Many replies in the comment section claim that she looks like she belongs to the Honkai: Star Rail world and fans are debating if she was inspired by some of the characters from the Honkai universe. This would not be the first time for a Genshin Impact to have their design based on a playable unit from Honkai: Star Rail as many popular characters like Yae Miko, Raiden Shogun, Venti, and many others have their counterparts in the Honkai world.
While many players seem to be excited about Skirk becoming part of the playable roster, recent leaks have unfortunately revealed that her release is still many months away. Credible leakers have compared Skirk to Dainsleif, another popular character tied to the Abyss who is yet to join the roster despite being part of the game for many years.
