A new update shared by prominent HoYoverse leaker StepLeaker is hinting at the next addition to Fontaine's map planned for Version 4.2. The post reveals the introduction of Lumidouce Harbor to the in-game map, a port town located within the eastern reaches of Fontaine. Lumidouce Harbor has already been teased during a world quest within Genshin Impact, suggesting the port may also connect to the heavily rumored Liyue area of Chenyu Vale. Genshin Impact's Version 4.2 update is currently expected to launch in early November.

The addition of Lumidouce Harbor would add to a reportedly stacked schedule of expansions for Genshin Impact's Fontaine cycle. Along with the already-released Court of Fontaine and the upcoming Fortress of Meropide, Version 4.4 is believed to be adding the previously mentioned Chenyu Vale to the map. Past leaks have teased another expansion coming for the Hydro region during its cycle, hinting at a "Dungeon" area to be introduced with Genshin Impact's Version 4.6. Mondstadt had also been rumored to have a new area planned for launch in the future, though its release window is still unknown.

Lumidouce Harbor's introduction in Version 4.2 will look to follow two jam-packed patches filled with plenty of new content. Alongside the update to the game's map, Version 4.1 is also set to introduce two new characters to Genshin Impact with the release of Neuvillette and Wriothesley as Catalyst characters. The update will also bring players back to Mondstadt and Liyue for its main event, with the two nations holding a joint poetry festival. The start of Genshin Impact's Fontaine cycle has brought a plethora of things to do within the RPG with much more to come.

Genshin Impact is available now for PC, PS4, PS5, and mobile devices. A Switch version is in development.
