A recent Genshin Impact leak is hinting at a major update coming to the Battle Pass with the release of Version 5.0, allowing players to choose between Talent books. The massively popular HoYoverse RPG features multiple different ways for players to power up their in-game characters, with several options for advancement. Players can outfit their characters with different Weapons and Artifacts for optimal bonuses, as well as upgrade each character's individual abilities with Talent materials. Now, a helpful change will be addressing the availability of Talent materials through the Battle Pass.
Genshin Impact's Battle Pass provides players with plenty of rewards for consistently playing the game and engaging with its different challenges. Each tenth tier of the Battle Pass rewards players with gacha currency, granting Acquaint Fates with the free version and Intertwined Fates for the premium Battle Pass. Genshin Impact Leak Teases Version 5.0 Battle Pass Update
A recent post shared by Genshin Impact leaker Jokerverse is teasing an update to the Talent books available with Genshin Impact's Battle Pass. According to the leak, the Version 5.0 update will add the ability for players to choose Talent books from any region as the reward for each fifth level of the premium Battle Pass. The Battle Pass currently only allows players to obtain Talent books from the most recent region, currently granting Fontaine Talent books for completion. Genshin Impact's Version 5.0 update is currently expected to launch on August 27.
Alongside the launch of Natlan and three new characters, Genshin Impact's Version 5.0 is expected to bring a plethora of quality-of-life updates to the game. The Natlan patch will reportedly add the ability for players to skip Floors 9 and 10 of the Spiral Abyss if they cleared the levels in the endgame dungeon's previous cycle. HoYoverse has also confirmed it will be raising device performance requirements with Version 5.0, likely tied to new graphical features and elements found within the game's next region.
