A new Genshin Impact leak has revealed more details about Arlecchino, a new character who is confirmed to arrive in the upcoming months. The arrival of the long-awaited Fontaine nation introduced tons of new iconis characters from the magician duo Lyney and Lynette to the Hydro Archon Furina.
One of these characters is Arlecchino, a member of the infamous Fatui organization in which she plays the role of a Harbinger. Even though Arlecchino is yet to make an official in-game appearance, she has been featured in multiple teaser videos for Fontaine including the most recent trailer for Genshin Impact version 4.1.
A new post on the Genshin Impact Leaks subreddit has revealed the in-game model of the upcoming Harbinger known as Arlecchino. A lot of fans seem confused that a Vision can be seen on Arlecchino's back considering that Fatui Harbingers can manipulate elemental energy with the help of Delusions. Even though there is not a lot of information about these items, they are considered artificial, man-made Visions constructed in Snezhnaya. Even if the Vision is just a placeholder, going by Arlecchino's overall design, many fans expect her to be a Pyro user due to the multiple red details featured in her model. While many players hoped that she could be a sword user, recent rumors claim that Arlecchino will be a polearm character.
According to most recent rumors, Arlecchino is the fourth most powerful Fatui Harbinger which means that she could potentially be the strongest villain the Traveler has faced so far in the storyline. Genshin Impact's official storyline confirmed that Arlecchino came from the Hydro nation, and she runs the House of Hearts orphanage in Snezhnaya.
A recent quest revealed that the two recently released characters Lyney and Lynette came from this orphanage, and at some point in the past Lynette was rescued by Arlecchino. Her kit was previously described as "puppeteering" which could mean that she can control various types of elemental lifeforms. These leaks should still be taken with a grain of salt since Arlecchino won't be joining the playable roster anytime soon.
The live stream event confirmed that the upcoming Genshin Impact update 4.1 will add two new Catalyst users, Wriothesley and Neuvillette. Going by HoYoverse's usual character release schedule, version 4.2 will most likely introduce Fontaine's Hydro Archon Furina, and it's highly unlikely that Arlecchino will be featured in the same update.
Genshin Impact is available now for PC, PS4, PS5, and mobile devices. A Switch version is in development.
