A recent leak has given Genshin Impact players a glimpse into what Alice, the mysterious mother of Klee, could look like once she finally makes her in-game appearance. The Hexenzirkel has long been an overarching story thread in Genshin Impact, as the Traveler has had a fair share of encounters with the members of the coven. Most recently, Mona Megistus helped players establish a connection with Nicole Reeyn, who imparted wisdom to the Traveler during the prophecy crisis in Fontaine, and was also the mysterious voice heard during Inversion of Genesis.
However, it could be argued that the Hexenzirkel member with the biggest connection to the Traveler happens to be Alice, who is also the mother of Klee in Genshin Impact. Though not directly seen in-game, she is directly responsible for setting up the Summer Events in 2021 and 2022, and indirectly plays a hand in the Summer Event of 2023 as well. Curiously, recent information has revealed that Version 4.8 will also feature a Summer Event hosted by a Hexenzirkel member, and that its theme will be fairy tales.
Genshin Impact Leaks Furina's Mysterious Original Concept Art
A new Genshin Impact leak shows the original concept art for the popular five-star sword user, Fontaine's Hydro Archon Lady Furina.
A concept art of Alice was shared by ukrisreng, a regular contributor on the Genshin Impact Leaks subreddit. The leak originally came from keitaro_gg as its source, and it shows a red-robed woman with elf ears, red eyes, and white hair. If one were to assume that the Hexenzirkel and Alice are playing a role in this year's Summer Event as well, then there could be a strong possibility that players will finally see one of the most mysterious characters in Genshin Impact.
The Genshin Impact leak concerning Version 4.8 certainly aligns with the concept art leak of Alice, but it should be noted that character designs can change over time. Famously, Sethos had white hair in his concept art, yet ended up with black hair in his final version – even though the rest of the design remained largely the same.
Alice Could Be Making an Appearance in Genshin Impact Version 4.8
Version 4.8 is expected to be the final patch of Fontaine, and its end date will usher in the launch of Natlan in August 2024. With only two regions of Teyvat remaining, it could be the right time for major story figures such as Alice to finally meet the Traveler. The Archon Quest in Version 4.2 introduced players to Skirk, who herself had knowledge of the Hexenzirkel and Rhinedottir, one of the more controversial members of the organization. It's possible that Genshin Impact is keeping Alice for a major role in Natlan's Archon Quest (or beyond), but the chances of her first appearance being in Version 4.8 can't be disregarded just yet.
