After moving on to Sumeru in Genshin Impact's patch 3.0, Inazuma quietly faded into the background for a while, for obvious reasons. Mondstadt and Liyue received new characters amidst the Sumeru deluge (Mika, Yaoyao, and Baizhu), but it took a while before Inazuma finally received some attention with Kirara, who released in Version 3.7. This Dendro sword character is a four-star with a lot of potential. For anyone looking to use her on their team, she'll need to be ascended like any other character.
To bring Kirara up to speed with your other characters, you'll need to head back to the Electro nation archipelago to collect the materials for her ascension. Here's everything Kirara needs, as well as all the Kirara talent materials you'll need.
Ascension Levels and Requirements
Every Genshin Impact character needs more than 8 million EXP and just under 1.7 million Mora to reach level 90. Here's how much is needed between each ascension level.

Gemstones - Where to Find Nagadus Emerald
The elemental gem used by Dendro characters is Nagadus Emerald, which can be found in a few places. The primary source of it will be defeating bosses, and it can drop from the following:
- Jadeplume Terrorshroom
- Dendro Hypostasis
- The Guardian of Apep's Oasis (The Realm of New Beginnings)

Enemy Drop - Where to Find Specter Drops
Specters are primarily found in Inazuma, but there are a few dotted around Sumeru as well. Higher-level Specters are capable of dropping better items, but lower-level items can be crafted upward, too.

This strange item is dropped by the Iniquitous Baptist boss, which released only one patch before Kirara herself. This boss is found in the northernmost expansion of Sumeru's desert region, so it's quite the trek to get there.

Local Specialty - Amakumo Fruit Locations
Until Kirara's release, only the Raiden Shogun used Amakumo Fruit to ascend. However, Kirara will also use this pink fruit, which is only found on Seirai Island, fittingly, around Amakumo Peak. Look for a small blue and pink plant dotting the landscape around this Inazuman island.
Unfortunately, Amakumo Fruit cannot be grown in the Serenitea Pot, nor can it be purchased from any vendors.

Talent Books - Transience
The Transience books, also used by other Inazuman characters like Kokomi and Yoimiya, are found in the Violet Court domain. They're only available on Monday, Thursday, and Sunday.
Trounce Materials - Everamber
The trounce material used for Kirara's talent upgrades is the Everamber. This unique item is found in only one place: the Realm of Beginnings trounce challenge, where players must relive their fight against the Guardian of Apep's Oasis.
This trounce domain is only available after completing Nahida's second story quest, Homecoming.
