Ever since Genshin Impact's release, Keqing was and still is a mediocre character. Before Dendro Reactions, Keqing was a low-tier DPS, but now with Quicken and Aggravate, her viability has risen slightly.

What makes Keqing suffer in Genshin Impact is the fact that even her Constellations are wrapped in poor scalings. Every Constellation offers a small amount of DMG or a single buff in return for meeting a couple of limitations.

Is Getting Keqing Constellations Worth It In Genshin Impact?

Her Constellations don’t offer her anything but an extra 25% ATK and 24% DMG. So no, getting Keqing Constellations is not worth it in Genshin Impact.

C1 - Thundering Might

  • Effect: Recasting Stellar Restoration while a Lightning Stiletto is present causes Keqing to deal 50% of her ATK as AoE Electro DMG at the start point and terminus of her Blink.
  • Importance: Negligible

C1 Keqing provides a small damage bonus where she deals Electro hit when she teleports to her Lightning Stiletto. The damage is rather insignificant at only 50% of her ATK, making it a negligible addition for Keqing.

C2 - Keen Extraction

  • Effect: When Keqing's Normal and Charged Attacks hit opponents affected by Electro, they have a 50% chance of producing an Elemental Particle. This effect can only occur once every 5s.
  • Importance: Negligible

Another Constellation that doesn’t add anything to Keqing’s kit in Genshin Impact. C2 Keqing grants her a chance to get a particle when she attacks an enemy that is affected by Electro. As it only needs 40 energy to use, Keqing’s Elemental Burst is already in very good shape energy-wise. So summoning one single particle after meeting four limitations is not necessary at all.

C4 - Attunement

  • Effect: For 10s after Keqing triggers an Electro-related Elemental Reaction, her ATK is increased by 25%.
  • Importance: Medium

C4 Keqing gets 25% ATK after triggering an Elemental Reaction in Genshin Impact. An ATK boost is always good, but not when it’s on the fourth Constellation. Other characters get some insane abilities at this Constellation, like Ayaka, for example, at C4 when her Elemental Burst hits an enemy, it reduces their DEF by a whopping 30%. It clearly indicates that Keqing belongs to the past and her Constellations need some rework.

C6 - Tenacious Star

  • Effect: When initiating a Normal Attack, a Charged Attack, Elemental Skill, or Elemental Burst, Keqing gains a 6% Electro DMG Bonus for 8s. Effects triggered by Normal Attacks, Charged Attacks, Elemental Skills, and Elemental Bursts are considered independent entities.
  • Importance: Medium

Congratulations, you reached Keqing’s C6 to get 24% extra DMG after meeting another four limitations. Literally, some 3-star Weapons offer more than that without overcoming any obstacle. Of course, a bonus is a bonus, but this effect is really weak as a final Constellation.
