Illuga Ascension and Talent Materials In Genshin Impact

Illuga is somewhat similar to Gorou in Genshin Impact, where he exists primarily to support one 5-star character as their best 4-star companion. Instead of a dumb Oni, Illuga will partner up with a heavenly horse Adeptus. Although upgrading him doesn't matter as much as leveling up Zibai, once you're done with the horse lady, you should still give Illuga some attention, especially since some of his kit will affect his buffing.
