After completing The Islands' Stirring Strings part in the Summer Odyssey Event, Genshin Impact players are now free to explore Xinyan’s island in its two forms. The Special Drum can change the height of some mountains which will greatly impact a couple of its puzzles since some of them seem impossible to solve.
Upon exploring the island in Genshin Impact, Travelers have most likely encountered a weird puzzle where Pyro Monuments are submerged underwater. Solving it is quite easy as it only takes tinkering with the mountains’ height, allowing the mechanic to break a barrier and unlock three Precious Chests. The following article will guide players on how to solve the Broken Isle puzzle and claim the Precious Chests in Genshin Impact.
How To Reach And Solve The Broken Isle Puzzle
To find the nameless puzzle that rewards three Precious Chests, Genshin Impact players have to go through another puzzle to find the cave. At first, it’s simple. All they'll need to do is change the island and shift its eastern mountain into a lower one.
A cave entrance will appear, which players can go through to find and start the Broken Isle puzzle.
Players will be greeted by four torches and one locked monument. To unlock it, they should use a Pyro character to light up all four torches. After that, they'll need to attack the Pyro monument with Pyro to lower the water in the cave.
The water will stop, and the main puzzle will show up. In order to experience an entirely new experience, players have to search for a second Monument to lower the water levels again.
Unlike the first four torches, these ones are scattered around and can’t be found in one place. One of the torches is even in an entirely different cave. Of course, players won’t have to go to it.
Instead, they can use the door at the end of the cave, which will open a shortcut to the puzzle cave.
Now, players must go back to change the mountain's style. The eastern mountain should go back to its original form by getting all its height back. Players can then take the road between the two mountains, before heading left and going inside the mountain where Albedo left his note.
There, they'll find the shortcut door that leads inside the puzzle during that Isle shape. They can now light up the monument which will cause the water levels to decrease again.
From here, the puzzle is fairly straightforward. It requires the movement of only one mechanism to open a chest.
After that, the tree should be gone, and players can easily arrange the mechanisms to shoot inside the small hole.
Three Precious Chests will be inside after unsealing their wall.
