In Version 3.4, Genshin Impact added a new gadget called Jinni in the Magic Bottle - which players have come to know as Liloupar, their companion in the exploration of the Desert of Hadramaveth. This new area in Sumeru is known for its vicious sandstorms, which hinders players from advancing forward in terms of exploration.
It is only through the completion of the Golden Slumber World Quest chain that players can talk to Katheryne and trigger its sequel - The Dirge Of Bilqis. Once again, Genshin Impact has indeed introduced its players to quite a lengthy quest whereby the Traveler journeys with Jeht to the Eternal Oasis.
How To Max Level The Jinni Bottle
Players will encounter Liloupar - the Jinni in the bottle during the first part of The Dirge of Bilqis quest chain - The Temple Where Sand Flows Like Tears. The bottle will be under the tree at Liloupar’s Cell and initially at Level 1. In addition, once the sub-quest, The Eternal Dream, Ever Lush is completed, Travelers will notice an advancement in the Jinni’s Might to Level 3. It is through the completion of the following quests that the player’s Jinni levels automatically increase:
- The Temple Where Sand Flows Like Tears
- Dune-Entombed Fecundity: Part 1
- Dune-Entombed Fecundity: Part 2
- Dune Entombed Fecundity: Part 3
- Tadla the Falcon
- The Falcon’s Hunt
Luckily for players, the fragments of the Jinni will need to be collected throughout the first four quests to proceed, thus, players will not have to go out of their way to maximize the levels. However, the sub-quest Tadla the Falcon can easily go unnoticed once all the chaos comes to a halt. Players can start this quest by talking to Masseira in the Tanit Camps, who will request the Traveler to help save his daughter Tadla and eventually accompany her on her Falcon training.
Unfortunately, the last quest, Falcon’s Hunt, is indeed a time-gated quest, so Travelers will have to wait until Day 2 of the daily reset to continue the quest and obtain the next Jinni level. The final level of the Jinni can be secured by triggering the Apocalypse Lost: Memories of Gurabad Quest after they have defeated Tadla and secured the missing chess piece. This is the final quest in The Dirge of Bilqis chain and the moment the Traveler and Paimon part ways with the Liloupar.
This quest can be triggered at Safhe Shatranj using the following chess pieces collected by the Travelers. Presently, players will only have the Memories of Gurabad chess piece, which will then be used as a transporter to the Temple of Gurabad. It is here that they will find the last Jinni fragment to upgrade Liloupar’s power and complete the quest. Liloupar will leave the Traveler’s side,; her powers will remain. Now that the Jinni is at max level, players can use this to their advantage in the following ways:
- Mysterious texts can be deciphered
- Jinni branches can be located on the map (this helps when Liloupar runs low on energy)
- Sandstorms can be summoned and halted
- Visibility in sandstorms has increased
- Players can clear vortexes in the area
With the help of the Jinni’s maximum abilities, players can now solve puzzles, enter hidden areas, and obtain any chests to reach 100% exploration in the Desert of Hadramaveth.
Genshin Impact is now available on Mobile, PC, PS4 and PS5. A Switch version is in development.
