In Genshin Impact, players can customize their own house, also known as the Serenitea Pot. This area can be filled with furnishings from each of the game's regions, as well as characters the player has obtained. Some especially ambitious players have recreated scenes from gaming history, while others prefer to build simple and cozy homes.
Players can use Omni-Ubiquity Nets to capture wildlife and place them in their Serenitea Pot, allowing for a diverse range of creatures. If they so desire, players can even make a zoo in Genshin Impact containing dozens of wild animals. Teyvat is home to all sorts of creatures that can be caught, including foxes, axolotls, and frogs. However, sometimes a player just needs a dog or a cat to make their house a home.
How to get pets in your Serenitea Pot in Genshin Impact
There are two primary ways to obtain pets for a Serenitea Pot. First, players can purchase dogs and cats from the Traveling Salesman, who appears every weekend. If they cannot find the pet they desire, players can also visit their friend's Serenitea Pot, since every player's Traveling Salesman possesses a different stock of wares. Dogs and cats in Genshin Impact come in several colors and patterns, so players may have to wait a while before their favorite pet comes into rotation.
The other way to acquire pets is by using the Omni-Ubiquity Net. However, only the Sapphire and Gray Snow Cat can be obtained through this method. Dogs that are seen in towns or villages cannot be captured using this net. To catch a creature using the Omni-Ubiquity Net, players must equip it to their Gadget slot, activate their Gadget, then hold the Elemental Skill button. This opens a targeting view that allows players to precisely throw the net, revealing an aiming reticle for increased accuracy. Once a Sapphire or Gray Snow Cat has been caught with the Omni-Ubiquity Net, they can be successfully placed in a Serenitea Pot.
How to place pets in your Serenitea Pot in Genshin Impact
Once players have acquired a pet, they can now place it in their Serenitea Pot. To do so, players should open the Edit menu indicated by a pointing hand icon in the top right of their screen. From here, they should navigate to the "Animal" tab of the furnishing placement menu. To place a pet, players can either click or drag the pet's icon to summon it into the Serenitea Pot. Pets can be rotated and precisely placed in the Edit menu, but once players return to gameplay, they will move freely around the location.
