The process of collecting Handguards in Genshin Impact is limited as the only way to farm the materials is by defeating Nobushi and Kairagi, which are only available in Inazuma. Not to mention that the drop rate needs a severe boost since some enemies reward nothing.
Handguards are often used to level up certain characters in Genshin Impact like the Kamisato siblings, Raiden Shogun, Yae Miko, and Wanderer. The materials are also collected to upgrade some 5-Star and 4-Star weapons.
Nobushi And Kairagi Locations In Genshin Impact
Nobushi and Kairagi locations in Genshin Impact mark the places where players can create a Handguard farming route.
Jinren Island
A total of 16 Nobushi are found inhabiting Jinren Island in Genshin Impact.
North of Ritou
Six enemies are on a small island northwest of Ritou.
Konda Village
From the Konda Village outskirts waypoint in Genshin Impact, travel south to defeat three Nobushi and continue to find two more. Next, turn east from the waypoint to find five more enemies and go south to kill an extra three.
Kujou Encampment
Players can find 16 Nobushi scattered around Kujou Encampment, especially on the eastern side of the island. There are also two enemies near the Pyro Hypostasis in Genshin Impact and three more found on an island west of Kujou Encampment.
Tatarasuna
Fast travel to the Kannazuka Statue of the Seven and head south twice to spawn two Kairagi on each spot (they won't appear until players approach the area). After that, move northeast to defeat five Nobushi. Next, head to the Waypoint southeast of the Statue of the Seven and run west to see five enemies in Genshin Impact.
Teleport to the Shakkei Pavilion Domain and move northeast to find two Nobushi then proceed southwest to face eight Nobushi and Kairagi.
Yashiro Island
From the Nazuchi Beach Waypoint, turn west to kill six Nobushi and then run north to find an extra five enemies.
From the Momiji-Dyed Court Domain in Genshin Impact go north and fight one Nobushi and immediately go east to see three more enemies. Upon following the dirt path, 10 more enemies will appear.
Now, go to the Formation Estate Domain and head down the slope southwest to encounter four Nobushi. Go back up and run west to find seven Nobushi. Finally, return to the Domain and go southeast to kill four more Nobushi.
Teleport to the Statue of the Seven and defeat all 11 Nobushi scattered around the statue.
Watatsumi Island
There are five Nobushi lying around just west of Bourou Village south of Watatsumi Island.
From the Teleport Waypoint north of the Sangonomiya Shrine, players can find four enemies on the west. Go back to the same Waypoint and glide down southwest then east to kill 11 Nobushi. For some extra Nobushi, five enemies can be found on two separate islands east of Watatsumi Island.
North of Seirai Island
Travelers can fight 16 Nobushi around Amakumo Peak.
Additionally, Five enemies are hidden in Koseki Village while 13 are spread around Fort Hiraumi.
