As players work through the Farewell to the Past quest in Genshin Impact, they will encounter an objective that instructs them to go to the cave below the Grand Narukami Shrine. While fans should have no trouble reaching this cave, as an in-game waypoint will lead them directly to it, they may encounter an obstacle upon arrival. That obstacle takes the form of a barrier that prevents entrance to the cave below Genshin Impact's Grand Narukami Shrine, and this guide details how to get past it.
Genshin Impact: Go to the Cave Below the Grand Narukami Shrine (Farewell to the Past)
To bypass the barrier at the entrance to the cave, players should make their way to the Grand Narukami Shrine and navigate to its northeast corner. From this position, fans should jump off the ledge and use their Wind Gliders in Genshin Impact to continue heading northeastwardly. As fans glide in this direction, they will see a small floating island with a lantern just northeast of the cave waypoint, and they should land on it.
Upon landing on the small floating island, players will be able to summon an Electrogranum in Genshin Impact, and that is exactly what they should do. Once that is done, fans can simply glide down to the cave entrance and walk through the barrier without any trouble. For those players that prefer a visual reference, the following video showcases this process in action, and it should be quite simple to replicate.
Inside the cave below the Grand Narukami Shrine, players will watch a protracted cutscene before engaging in battle. This conflict is followed by even more dialogue, which marks the final moments of the Farewell to the Past quest. That is not the end of this Raiden Shogun quest chapter in Genshin Impact, though, and fans will find that they have a brand-new quest to pursue when the dialogue comes to a close.
For those players that are curious about this new quest, it is called Radiant Sakura, and completing it unlocks the End of the Oneiric Euthymia domain. This domain is the source of the
Mudra of the Malefic General, the
Tears of the Calamitous God, and the
The Meaning of Aeons, talent level-up materials in Genshin Impact that many fans will be interested in getting their hands on. Fortunately, all the objectives in Radiant Sakura are quite straightforward, and fans should have little trouble finishing the quest.
Genshin Impact is now available on Mobile, PC, PS4, and PS5, with a Switch version in development.
