Atocpan and Ancient Sacred Mountain are two new sub-areas of Natlan in Genshin Impact, featuring the "Collective of Plenty" and the secret city located beneath the volcano. By following the new Archon Quest, players will meet with Varesa, who will lead them to the tribe in the middle of Atocpan.
People of "Collective of Plenty" co-exist with an active volcano, as most of them have the ability to smash through the boulders spewed by the volcano, such as the playable character Varesa and Iansan's Skill. With a unique geological map, Travelers can explore this area to find various hidden chests by completing puzzles, defeating enemies, and other mechanics in Genshin Impact.
Hidden Chest Location 1: Break The Pulverite
Teleport to the farthest southwest waypoint of the Stadium of the Sacred Flame and head west toward multiple Pulverites and Tatankasaurus. Indwell the purple Saurian and smash through the Pulverites to spawn a hidden chest inside it.
Hidden Chest Location 2: Save The Capybara
From the previous spot, head further west to the beach, and you will spot an Iktomisaurus. Indwell the Saurian and absorb the Phlogiston on the wall to make the lifebuoy on the Capybara disappear, and let it swim to the shore. After it safely arrives, a treasure chest will spawn for you to collect.
Hidden Chest Location 3: Save & Follow The Dragon Idol
Warp to the teleport waypoint east of "Collective of Plenty" and head east to the lava pool where you see a group of Hilichurls near the Secret Source Dragon Idol. Once you defeat them, the nearby Remarkable Chest will be unlocked, but that's not the hidden chest. The hidden chests will be brought to you by the now-activated Dragon Idol. Continue following the dragon, and it will give you three different chests inside a hidden area called Flowfire Experimental Site.

Local Legends in Genshin Impact Natlan are not the most straightforward to find since some have a trigger for the battle.
Hidden Chest Location 4: Penguin Rain From The Volcano
Now, use the waypoint southeast of "Collective of Plenty" and climb the mountain to the northwest, where you can spot a half-buried warning sign. Interact with the sign, then the fallen Kamera nearby. After a few seconds, penguins will fall from the sky, awarding you with the hidden achievement 'Happy (And Hot) Feet' and an Exquisite Chest.
Hidden Chest Location 5: Complete Kulemana's Challenge
Return to the previous waypoint, but this time, head south to the shore. Once you find Kulemana and try to touch any of the Radiant Spincrytal on her table, she will talk to you and start a challenge. If you manage to complete the challenge, you will get the three Radiant Spincrystals and a hidden treasure chest.
Hidden Chest Location 6: Complete Sachya's Challenge
The previous challenge is not the only one that gives a hidden treasure; there's another one southwest of Remnants of Tetenanco in Genshin Impact. Find Sachya warming up under a camp and talk to him to start the challenge, where you need to destroy rolling boulders and reach the destination within the time limit.
Hidden Chest Location 7: Hidden Under Long-Necked Rhino
Next, teleport to a waypoint southwest of Ancient Sacred Mountain icon in the middle of Atocpan, and head north to find a Long-Necked Rhino. Indwell a Tatankasaurus nearby and smash the small Phlogiston rock under the dinosaur so it will reveal the hidden treasure chest.
Hidden Chest Location 8: Collect All Pyro Particles
Use the Derelict Masonry Dock Domain waypoint and go west to the shore to find two Tatankasaurus near a breakable Secret Source material. Indwell the Tatankasaurus and smash the box to uncover a Pyro Particle underneath it. Once you take it, a hidden challenge will start where you need to collect all 36 Pyro Particles within the time limit to get the treasure chest as rewards.
Hidden Chest Location 9: Defeat The Hidden Furnace Shell Mountain Weasel
Once again, teleport to a waypoint southwest of Ancient Sacred Mountain icon and head north to a small area beside the waterfall. You will notice 3 Phlogiston rocks making a circle formation around a patch. Indwell a Tatankasaurus and smash the three Phlogiston rocks to discover a Furnace Shell Mountain Weasel in the middle of the patch. Once you defeat it, a treasure chest will spawn for you to claim.
Hidden Chest Location 10: Return The Secret Source Idol
When you first arrive at the Summoning Hall in Ancient Sacred Mountain, you will meet a Secret Source Idol named Ehetacl. After the whole map is lit up, Ehetacl will shut down and remain motionless at the altar. Return to that spot and retrieve the quest item 'That Which Was Once Ehecatl' before going to the ruins south of Fallingstar Fields and placing the empty shell there to unlock a hidden room with a Luxurious Chest.
Hidden Chest Location 11: Feed The Long-Necked Rhino
Now, teleport to the waypoint far northwest of Fallingstar Fields and head northeast to the shore to find a single Long-Necked Rhino taking a bath in the sea. When you get near one of the buckets near it, there will be an option to feed it. Choose to feed the Rhino, and it will slam the ground once to spawn a treasure chest.
Hidden Chest Location 12: Clean The Area filled With Pulverites
Use the waypoint north of "Collective of Plenty" and head west to a spot with many Pulverites. Indwell a Tatankasaurus and destroy all the Pulverites in this location. Afterward, defeat an enemy that will spawn to make an NPC come running toward you. He will reward you with a hidden treasure chest for cleaning this place.
