Are Clorinde Constellations Worth It In Genshin Impact?

To put it simply, most of Clorinde’s Constellations in Genshin Impact are not worth it since her personal DPS is not that high to begin with. Instead of being a hypercarry like Arlecchino, Clorinde’s kit demands the entire team to work together, creating an overall large DPS without Clorinde dominating the chart.

Therefore, it’s not substantial to increase Clorinde’s personal DPS, especially when compared to boosting her support, such as getting C2 Nahida in Genshin Impact. This is also more beneficial for the players since Nahida fits almost everywhere, unlike Clorinde.

However, if players do choose to maximize Clorinde because they like her, then they should go all the way to C6. If it’s not possible, do C1 or C2, then stop. It’s not worth getting C3 to C5 without pushing for C6.

C1 - "From This Day, I Pass the Candle's Shadow-Veil"

Effect	While Elemental Skill’s Night Vigil state is active, when Electro DMG from Clorinde's Normal Attacks hit opponents, they will trigger 2 coordinated attacks from a Nightvigil Shade summoned near the hit opponent, each dealing 30% of Clorinde's ATK as Electro DMG. This effect can occur once every 1.2s. DMG dealt this way is considered Normal Attack DMG.

While Elemental Skill’s Night Vigil state is active, when Electro DMG from Clorinde's Normal Attacks hit opponents, they will trigger 2 coordinated attacks from a Nightvigil Shade summoned near the hit opponent, each dealing 30% of Clorinde's ATK as Electro DMG.

This effect can occur once every 1.2s. DMG dealt this way is considered Normal Attack DMG.

C1 Clorinde in Genshin Impact summons a Nightvigil Shade with her Normal Attacks, which will trigger coordinated attacks with her NA. This Constellation increases her damage and potential in applying Electro.

C2 - "Now, As We Face the Perils of the Long Night"

Effect	Enhance the Passive Talent "Dark-Shattering Flame": Electro DMG dealt by Clorinde's Normal Attacks and Elemental Burst will be increased by 30% (instead of 20%) of Clorinde's ATK for 15s. Max 3 stacks. Each stack is counted independently. When you have 3 stacks, Clorinde's interruption resistance will be increased. The Maximum DMG increase achievable this way for the above attacks is 2,700 (instead of 1,800).

Effect

Clorinde’s C2 enhances her first Ascension passive (A1). Instead of increasing her damage by 20% of her ATK, it’s boosted to 30%, and the maximum increases from 1800 to 2700. She also gains a new effect of interruption resistance, which will build up later with her C6.

All in all, though, Clorinde’s C2 is another damage increase. While it does boost her personal DPS, her individual damage is not that high to begin with, making this Constellation a poorer option when compared to something like Raiden Shogun’s Constellation in Genshin Impact.

C4 - "To Enshrine Tears, Life, and Love"

Effect	When Elemental Burst deals DMG, DMG dealt is increased based on Clorinde's Bond of Life percentage. Every 1% of her current Bond of Life will increase Elemental Burst DMG by 2%. The maximum Elemental Burst DMG increase achievable this way is 200%.
Importance	High

Instead of boosting her Normal Attack, Clorinde’s C4 solely focuses on her Elemental Burst. The DPS increase is somewhat lower compared to her C1 and C2, but C4 allows Clorinde to quickly clear trash waves, allowing players to complete timed content faster.

C6 - "And So Shall I Never Despair"

Effect	For 12s after Elemental Skill is used, Clorinde's CRIT Rate will be increased by 10%, and her CRIT DMG by 70%. Additionally, while Night Vigil is active, a Glimbright Shade will appear under specific circumstances, executing an attack that deals 200% of Clorinde's ATK as Electro DMG. DMG dealt this way is considered Normal Attack DMG. The Glimbright Shade will appear under the following circumstances: When Clorinde is about to be hit by an attack. When Clorinde uses Impale the Night: Pact. 1 Glimbright Shade can be summoned in the aforementioned ways every 1s. 6 Shades can be summoned per single Night Vigil duration. In addition, while Night Vigil is active, the DMG Clorinde receives is decreased by 80% and her interruption resistance is increased. This effect will disappear after the Night Vigil state ends or 1s after she summons 6 Glimbright Shades.

Unlike the rest of her Constellations, C6 Clorinde turns her into a monster that’s a jack-of-all-trades and master-of-all. She can heal herself, has insane sustain, deals high damage, has incredible mobility, can carry the team’s DPS, and is an excellent Electro driver, all at the same time.
