Genshin Impact has revealed changes are coming to the game's Genius Invokation TCG game mode in Version 3.5, adding three new Character Cards and a pair of Artifact Cards. The long-awaited TCG mode for the HoYoverse RPG first debuted late last year in Version 3.3 with over 20 Character Cards available and a variety of Action Cards for players to build their deck. The developer previously confirmed the TCG would receive continuing support through future updates, adding Klee and Beidou in Version 3.4. Now, the newest version will bring a trio of new characters.

Since the introduction of Genius Invokation TCG, HoYoverse has brought plenty of different ways for Genshin Impact players to experience the card game. Alongside the previously mentioned new characters in Version 3.4, the most recent update also introduced a new way to play the game, dubbed "Heated Battle." Players also have a variety of options to play the game with Adventure Challenges against NPCs, battling other playable characters, and queuing up online against other players. Genshin Impact's next update will add even more unique strategies with three new characters.

A new update from Genshin Impact has revealed five new cards in total will be added to Genius Invokation TCG in Version 3.5. Genshin Impact's next patch will feature three new Character Cards added to Genius Invokation with Eula as the sole DPS and Kokomi and Sara in supportive roles. Eula's kit focuses around a mix of Cryo and physical damage with Normal Attacks and Elemental Skills empowering her Elemental Burst. Kokomi emphasizes healing with both her Elemental Skill and Burst while Sara's abilities add damage to other characters' attacks.

New Character Cards

  • Eula
  • Sangonomiya Kokomi
  • Kujou Sara

New Equipment Cards

  • General's Ancient Helm
  • Ornate Kabuto

Version 3.5 will also come with the addition of two new Artifact Cards for Genshin Impact players to slot into their decks. The General's Ancient Helm costs two mana of the same color and grants a character the "Unmovable Mountain" buff, providing 2 Shield points. Ornate Kabuto focuses on energy regeneration with the equipped character gaining energy points when an ally uses their Elemental Burst. General's Ancient Helm will look to be a boon for defensive playstyles while Ornate Kabuto provides quick regeneration for Elemental Burst-focused strategies.

The newest additions to Genius Invokation TCG join plenty of other new content coming to Genshin Impact in Version 3.5. The update will feature Dehya and Mika as the next characters to join Genshin Impact's roster along with the return of the popular Windblume event. Genius Invokation TCG will also receive other minor updates with a new version of the Heated Battle mode introduced in Version 3.4, this time reducing the cost of cards and skills. Genshin Impact fans will have plenty to dive into when Version 3.5 launches next week.

Genshin Impact is available now for PC, PS4, PS5, and mobile devices. A Switch version is in development.
