Lady Furina, also known as Focalors, has two different states with unique abilities, allowing her to be both an offensive attacker and a defensive support, making her one of the most versatile characters in the game.

Genshin Impact has revealed a new character demo for the upcoming Hydro sword user Focalors, better known as Lady Furina. She is the current Hydro Archon which means that her main job is to look after her beloved Fontaine nation. Focalors has made multiple in-game appearances so far, and she's been introduced as a very flamboyant and unpredictable character.

Before the arrival of each new Genshin Impact character, developer HoYoverse releases a series of promotional videos that dive deeper into the characters' story or combat abilities. While there is a lot of hype around Furina in the community, she won't be the only new character to arrive in version 4.2 as the four-star Charlotte is also scheduled to appear in an upcoming banner.

Genshin Impact's official YouTube channel has revealed a new character demo named Furina: All the World's a Stage, featuring the new Hydro Archon. The video shows Lady Furina's commitment to entertaining the citizens of Fontaine, even when she should perhaps take the circumstances more seriously. Since her introduction back in 4.0, there has been a lot of mystery surrounding this character and many rumors even described her as a "fake Archon" since some other characters like Neuvillette seem to be much more powerful than her. There is a high chance that the update will include a story quest featuring Focalors in which players will get to dive much deeper into her backstory.

When it comes to her power on the field, Furina has two different states, Ousia and Pneuma. Players can swap between the two states by using Furina's Charged Attack. During her Ousia state, Furina can summon three different Hydro elemental lifeforms that will attack nearby enemies and deal tons of Hydro damage. However, these three will also drain the active character's HP to deal more damage which means that players need to pair Furina with a powerful healer.

Furina's Pneuma state will allow her to also summon three Hydro creatures that will heal nearby characters. Focalors' Elemental Burst will create a large foam stage effect that deals AoE Hydro damage, and increases the party's damage and healing potential. The fact that she can swap between being an offensive and a defensive support will make Furina one of the most flexible characters in all of Genshin Impact as she will be able to fit multiple roles.

Both Furina and Charlotte have been confirmed to appear on the first banner cycle of the upcoming Genshin Impact update 4.2. They will arrive alongside the Dendro user Baizhu and two more four-star characters, Beidou and Collei.
