Genshin Impact's most recent Special Program has revealed three different promotional codes that grant free items including precious Primogems. HoYoverse hosts a live stream event before each new update that reveals most of the upcoming content including new characters, weapons, regions, or events.

The upcoming Genshin Impact update 3.5 will introduce two new characters to the roster, the long-awaited five-star Dehya and a four-star unit named Mika. The update will also give re-runs to three popular characters, the Electro user Cyno, and two Cryo characters, Ayaka and Shenhe.

The new Special Program event for Genshin Impact version 3.5 has revealed three new promotional codes that include various rewards such as Mystic Enhancement Ores, Hero's Wits, and most importantly, precious Primogems. Genshin Impact players can use Primogems to buy Intertwined or Acquaint Fates which can be spent on the game's character or weapon banners. Hero's Wits are also very important items as they are used for leveling Genshin Impact characters.

The live stream confirmed that Dehya will be placed alongside Cyno in the first banner cycle which is expected to arrive on March 1. HoYoverse also confirmed the previous leaks claiming that Dehya will join the Standard Banner. Similar to Tighnari who was released back in 3.0, Dehya will become part of the Standard Banner once Genshin Impact version 3.6 arrives.

This means that players who want to use the new Pyro user as their main DPS should go all-in on her banner since she won't get any additional re-runs in the future and players will have a significantly lower chance to get her on the Standard Banner. It's somewhat strange that Dehya and Cyno are placed on the same banner since they have very similar playstyles and skill animations. Both characters use their Elemental Bursts to buff their Normal Attacks and infuse them with elemental powers.

Fans seem very excited about the second banner which will include Kamisato Ayaka, Shenhe, and the new four-star character Mika. Ayaka is one of the strongest characters in Genshin Impact and arguably the best DPS when it comes to dealing elemental damage.

The two featured five-star characters have great synergy considering that Shenhe's kit revolves around having as many Cryo users around her as possible. Even though the new four-star character Mika was rumored to be the first Cryo user to use the catalyst as his main weapon, the live stream confirmed that he will be a polearm character.

Genshin Impact is now available on Mobile, PC, PS4, and PS5. A Switch version is in development.
