One of the most enigmatic and fascinating characters released in Genshin Impact in recent years is Flins, an Electro polearm user from Nod-Krai. He's a somewhat eccentric gentleman who serves as a Lightkeeper, one of the last lines of defense against the encroaching Wild Hunt.

Players have been excited to pull for Flins since his reveal, and those who successfuly do will need the following materials to maximize his potential.

Flins Leveling Materials

It takes quite a lot of EXP to reach level 90, and if EXP materials are used, it'll cost a bit of Mora too.

Gemstones - Where to Find Vajrada Amethyst

As an Electro character, Flins uses Vajrada Amethyst. This Electro gem can be found in a variety of ways, but the vast majority of it is most easily obtained by defeating bosses. The bosses (and trounces) that can drop this gem are as follows:

Local Specialty - Where to Find Frostlamp Flowers

Fitting for his overall lantern theme, Flins uses Frostlamp Flowers in his ascension. These are a local specialty that can only be found in Nod-Krai. They can be found on all three of the islands released in the first Nod-Krai patch, specifically on the eastern shore of Hiisi Island, on the eastern coast of Lempo Isle near Barrowmoss Barrens, around the Eye of Kratti, and in abundance around the Final Night Cemetery.

For players looking to find a few more, they can also be grown in the Serenitea Pot or purchased from Richeza in Nasha Town.

Boss Drop - How to Get Precision Kuuvahki Stamping Die

This item, which is only obtainable from the Knuckle Duckle boss fight, is the boss item Flins uses in his ascension. It can be found south of Aino's workshop on Lempo Isle.

To defeat this boss, Electro-Charged and Luna-Charged reactions are key, though not technically necessary. This makes Flins, and the other character who uses this boss drop, Aino, perfect characters for the fight.

Enemy Drop - Where to Find Landcruisers

These Drive Shafts are only dropped by the various types of Landcruisers, which, as of now, are only found in Nod-Krai. At higher levels, they can drop better items:

Talent Books - Vagrancy

The Vagrancy series from Nod-Krai is used for leveling up Flins' talents. It can be found in the Lightless Capital domain in Nod-Krai on Wednesdays, Saturdays, and Sundays.

Trounce Materials - Ascended Sample: Queen

After clearing the Paralogism Quest, players can re-challenge the Game Before the Gate trounce domain. One of the items dropped by this trounce fight, the Ascended Sample: Queen, is used in Flins' talent ugprades.

Players who haven't finished this quest but still want to upgrade Flins can do so by using the Quick Challenge function. Unlocked at AR 40, it allows players to challenge locked trounce fights, but only in solo mode.
