A Genshin Impact fan has managed to turn a couple of the recently released Sumeru characters into different Pokemon. The game's unique art style often inspires fans to try replicating in-game characters and implement them in completely different environments.
Genshin Impact's Sumeru updates have introduced eight characters so far with the Dendro Archon Nahida and the Hydro user Layla being the most recent additions. With Nahida's banner coming to an end, players will soon have the option to pull for Layla who is confirmed to be a four-star character and part of the next double banner featuring Yae Miko and Tartaglia.
Reddit user JhayAlejo has shared a couple of different character concepts featuring all the new Sumeru characters that joined the roster so far. The creator of the concept is known in the Genshin Impact community for creating similar art pieces. The thread gathered over 8,000 upvotes with players claiming that all the concepts perfectly represent each character and their in-game personality. Some fans say that they can't wait to see some of the upcoming concepts which will probably feature some upcoming characters like Wanderer or Alhaitham. Click here to see the full Reddit thread.
Out of all the concepts, players have pointed out that the one named Buerdeva is by far the best one. It is based on the recently released Dendro Archon Nahida, also known as Lesser Lord Kusanali. Even though many fans did not like her childlike appearance at first, a great character arc turned her into one of the most popular characters in Genshin Impact.
Fans have pointed out that despite looking harmless, Buerdeva could easily be a Psychic-type Mythical Pokemon like Mew who was part of Generation 1. According to the comment section, the second most popular concept features a three-stage evolution that is based on the first five-star character that arrived during Genshin Impact version 3.1: General Mahamatra, better known as Cyno.
All three stages of his evolution perfectly resemble his connection to the Pactsworn Pathclearer which is a fitting state Cyno can activate by using his elemental burst, Sacred Rite: Wolf's Swiftness. Cyno is a great choice for every player that needs a strong DPS character in Genshin Impact. He has great synergy with Nahida since a lot of his damage scales with Elemental Mastery which can be provided by the new Dendro Archon.
