Each character requires a certain amount of one of the available eight materials in Mondstadt. Once the Local Specialty is collected, Travelers must wait for a while before it respawns. Luckily, there are other methods to collect Local Specialty in Genshin Impact such as purchasing it from merchants found all over Teyvat.

All Mondstadt Local Specialty Locations In Genshin Impact

Mondstadt, the game's starting point, is inspired by real-world Germany. Its main grounds are a small-walled city, though it expands eastwards up to Starsnatch Cliff and northwards to Stormbearer Point. Whenever Travelers are tasked with collecting a Mondstadt Local Specialty, they will have to search for any of eight unique ingredients within the five available areas in Mondstadt.

Grows on the side of buildings, houses, and chimneys in the City of Mondstadt, Springvale, and Dawn Winery.

Small Lamp Grass

Scattered around Wolvendom and Whispering Woods.

Valberry

Heavily found in Stormbearer Mountains and Stormbearer Point.

Windwheel Aster

Collected from around the Statue of the Seven in Windrise and Stormterror’s Lair.

Wolfhook

Grows in Wolvendom.
