The Divine Ingenuity special event is back in Genshin Impact, allowing players to earn some of the trickier achievements with relative ease. The core gameplay of Genshin Impact revolves around elemental reactions. Though a team based around Physical Damage is still viable, the release of Dendro has comfortably shifted the meta towards Bloom and Vaporize setups. Nilou, Alhaitham, and Nahida have transformed the way players tackle endgame content in Genshin Impact, and the expectation is that Fontaine's characters will do the same.

The potency of these teams usually revolves around two different elements building off of each other, with Dendro's reactions being the most complex by far. However, Genshin Impact has countless achievements for players to earn, with rewards usually providing a small sum of Primogems, and the elemental series in specific revolves around successfully pulling off elemental reactions. This is where Divine Ingenuity comes in, as it allows players to create situations that make triggering those achievements child's play.

Divine Ingenuity in Genshin Impact lets players create Domains of their own. They can define layout, enemies, obstacles, and then share it with the Genshin Impact community through unique IDs. In theory, one could use the Domain builder in Divine Ingenuity to set up the perfect enemy roster that makes triggering elemental reactions easy. Slimes are usually the main building block of these Domains, as they innately emanate an element on their own. Though blazinfire posted this year's Divine Ingenuity guide on the Genshin Impact subreddit, Axelolotl, Euphmoria, and DeporeX shared Domain IDs for their respective regions that can help players clear the entire list of achievements.

In order to make sure that all elemental reactions are possible, the custom Domains in Genshin Impact were designed around the event's Trial characters such as Kazuha. The comments in the thread detail how to earn each individual achievement through any of the Domains, but players are welcome (and encouraged) to design and fine-tune their own in case they can't make it work. Needless to say, the return of Divine Ingenuity came at an opportune moment, as fans were somewhat disappointed that Version 3.7 revolved around Genius Invocation TCG, and were instead hoping for more traditional content.

Divine Ingenuity will last until June 29, allowing players enough time to complete their achievements, as well as challenge their friends' Domains. Version 3.8 of Genshin Impact is expected to launch in mid-July, and will largely take place on a temporary zone, with Klee and Eula as featured protagonists of its flagship event.

Genshin Impact is now available on PC, Mobile, PS4, and PS5. A Switch version is in development.
