A Genshin Impact chart has revealed the revenue difference between the two currently featured characters: the new five-star Emilie and the popular Hydro bow user Yelan. According to the chart, Yelan is responsible for over 57% of the total sales, which is somewhat surprising given that Emilie is a new Genshin Impact character. New roster additions typically dominate the sales charts, but the new data is another testament to Yelan's popularity. The Yelan and Hu Tao double banner still holds the overall revenue record for Genshin Impact, a record that likely won't be broken anytime soon. This is partly because, since the record was set in 2023, HoYoverse has released two new games, Honkai: Star Rail and Zeneless Zone Zero.
Genshin Impact - Yelan or Emilie: Who to Get?
These three games likely share an overlapping player base, which means that, to some extent, revenue is divided among the titles. Yelan is still widely considered the best off-field Hydro character in Genshin Impact and often ranks at the top of the game's popularity polls. One of Yelan's greatest strengths is her ability to deal significant damage even when she's not on the field. Additionally, as a Hydro user, the majority of her kit scales with max HP.
Emilie is also a supportive unit that excels in teams centered around the Burning elemental reaction.
