Those who are looking to travel with Diona and maximize her combat potential will need to gather some materials and quite a bit of Mora. Here's a full breakdown of everything Diona needs to ascend and upgrade her talents.

Leveling Materials

Here's how much EXP Diona needs between each ascension level:

Diona Ascension Items

Diona holds a Cryo Vision, which means she's going to need some Shivada Jade to ascend. Additionally, she'll require some Arrowheads from Hilichurl Shooters, the Hoarfrost Cores dropped by the Cryo Regisvine, and some Calla Lilies. Of course, there's also a Mora cost for ascension.

Gemstones - Where to Find Shivada Jade

All Cryo characters, including Diona, use Shivada Jade as part of their ascension.

Like other gemstones, Shivada Jade can be bought from the Mondstadt and Liyue souvenir shops or earned by finishing daily commissions.

One of the most efficient ways of earning gemstones, though, is by defeating bosses. Shivada Jade, in particular, can be obtained by defeating any of the following bosses:

• Cryo Regisvine
• Cryo Hypostasis
• Coral Defenders
• Maguu Kenki
• Perpetual Mechanical Array
• Primo Geovishap*
• Aeonblight Drake
• Iniquitous Baptist
• Icewind Suite (Coppelius)
• Andrius (The Wolf of the North Challenge)
• Childe (Enter the Golden House)
• Azhdaha (Beneath the Dragon Queller)*
• La Signora (Narukami Island: Tenshukaku)

*Azhdaha and the Primo Geovishap can only drop Shivada Jade when they're aligned with Cryo.

Enemy Drop - Where to Find Hilichurl Arrowheads

The Arrowheads dropped by Hilichurl Shooters come in three varieties, each dropped by a higher level monster:

Boss Drop - How to Get Hoarfrost Core

Hoarfrost Cores, which are used to ascend many Cryo characters, are obtained by defeating the Cryo Regisvine. This oversized Whopperflower is found in Mondstadt, specifically on the Falcon Coast, just south of the Thousand Winds Temple.

Local Specialty - Where to Find Calla Lilies

The regional specialty that Diona uses to ascend is the Calla Lily. These flowers are found throughout Mondstadt, especially near bodies of water. The big pond near Springvale is a good source of Calla Lilies.

There are two additional methods to finding Calla Lilies other than gathering them from the wild. First, they can be grown in the Serenitea Pot. Second, they can be purchased from Flora, the young girl who runs the flower shop in the City of Mondstadt. She carries five of them at a time, restocking every three days. They cost 1,000 Mora each.

Diona uses the Freedom series of talent books when upgrading her talents. These can be obtained in a number of ways, but the most reliable and efficient is by clearing the Forsaken Rift domain on Mondays, Thursdays, and Sundays.

Trounce Materials

The Trounce domain material that Diona uses for her talents is the Shard of a Foul Legacy. This item can be obtained by defeating Childe/Tartaglia at his weekly Trounce fight.
