Genshin Impact’s introduction of Envisaged Echoes brings a little flutter to a character's visuals. Right now, only five characters have echo trail effects available to claim through their respective challenges. Before unlocking this challenge, you need to make sure your Diluc is at Level 90 AND Friendship Level 8. You will also need to fine tune your Diluc, unlike his usual Elemental Reaction - dependent build which he benefits off. It would be best to focus on maximizing his raw DMG output since he’s going to be alone in this domain.

Best Envisaged Echoes Diluc Build
Focusing on Diluc’s personal damage is key in this domain whilst also keeping an eye on his Energy Recharge. He’s on a full DPS build here, so it’s best to focus on anything that gives him CRIT Rate, CRIT DMG and ATK% buffs.

How To Defeat Enemies In Diluc’s Envisaged Echoes Challenge
There are two challenges that players need to complete to obtain the echo trail effect. Phase 1 requires a little strategy and Phase 2 is purely combat.
Dark Side of Dawn Phase 1 Challenge
The first part of the challenge requires you to use Diluc to light up five Pyro monuments. You need to stand in front of the locked gate and position yourself on the ledge right in front of the first monument you see. Aim straight and cast Diluc’s Ultimate to hit them all.
The fifth monument which is to your right should also get hit, but just in case it doesn't, quickly dash to your right and light it up with Diluc’s elemental skill. The gate behind you will then open and you can head in for the next challenge.
Dark Side of Dawn Phase 2 Challenge
The second part of the challenge has 10 enemies that Diluc needs to defeat within 70 seconds. Each of the enemies are shielded, but they can be taken down if you time Diluc’s attack well enough. Since the enemies have either wooden shields or ice shields, you can use his claymore or elemental skill to break them.
The Best Way To Use Diluc
Diluc has a specific combat rotation which helps increase his DMG that players need to make use of since he’s on his own in this domain. It will help create constant DMG whilst also managing his various cooldowns.
- Elemental Skill 1 → Normal Attack → Elemental Skill 2 → Normal Attack → Elemental Skill 3 → Elemental Burst (and repeat)
If players already use this Diluc combat rotation when playing him outside this domain, then just continue to utilize him the way you know how to. You’ll also need to be quick and keep an eye on the time so that you don’t run out.
