Summary
- Clorinde dominated Genshin Impact sales with over 82% of revenue, while Alhaitham only brought in around 18%.
- Players eagerly await the upcoming Furina and Sigewinne banner, as many prioritize saving Primogems for key characters.
- The game's gacha system heavily relies on players pulling for coveted five-star characters, driving revenue for developers.
A Genshin Impact chart has revealed the revenue difference between Clorinde and Alhaitham, the five-star characters featured on the current Limited Character Banner. Every update in the game is divided into two parts, each containing a double banner that includes two separate five-star units and a four-star lineup that is shared between both banners.
The first part of Genshin Impact version 4.7 introduced the famous five-star Electro user Clorinde, who had already made multiple appearances in the game's main storyline. This banner cycle also included another Electro user named Sethos, the first four-star unit to arrive on the roster since Gaming in update 4.4.
The double banner mechanic allows players to choose between two limited five-star characters simultaneously. With the playable roster expanding with each update, many players have been asking HoYoverse to start implementing triple banners, allowing all five-star units to be featured much more frequently on the Limited Character Banner. Genshin Impact runs on a Gacha-based system, meaning that most of their revenue comes from players pulling for their desired five-star characters. A new chart taken from the popular stat website Paimon.moe has revealed the large sales difference between Clorinde and Alhaitham.
Genshin Impact: Clorinde and Alhaitham Sales Differences
According to the revealed data, Clorinde sales are responsible for over 82% of the banner's whole revenue, which does not come as a surprise considering that she's been one of the most anticipated characters in the community. Clorinde is a powerful DPS character who can fit many different team compositions in Genshin Impact, thanks to the Bond of Life mechanic which was introduced alongside the Fatui Harbinger Arlecchino.
Despite being widely regarded as one of, if not the best Dendro DPS character in Genshin Impact, Alhaitham's limited banner sales only amount to roughly 18% of the double banner's revenue. Many fans have previously revealed that despite wanting Clorinde in their team composition, they will skip this banner in order to save up some Primogems for the second banner cycle, which will feature Sigewinne and Lady Furina.
While Sigewinne is also a new five-star unit, many Travelers will spend their pulls on the Hydro Archon Furina. Since her release, Furina has been one of the most powerful characters in Genshin Impact and a must-have support unit for team comps that need a powerful Hydro applicator. The Furina and Sigewinne banner is scheduled to arrive around June 25, meaning that players have less than two weeks to pull for the currently featured limited characters, Clorinde and Alhaitham.
