An argument could be made that Citlali and Mavuika are the most popular female characters in Natlan. The latter is the Pyro Archon, and as such, is expected to have a strong debut on the Event Banners. The former is an irritable shaman from the Masters of the Night-Wind, whose popularity came as a surprise to most Genshin Impact players.
Like other beloved Genshin Impact characters, Citlali is defined by her flaws just as much as she is defined by her competency. She has a tragic undercurrent in her personal story and a colorful dynamic with her friends and proteges. While Version 5.1 made Citlali into a fan favorite, her Story Teaser solidified the Stargazer of Mictlan as one of the strongest characters to come out of Natlan.

Rather impressively, Medkit-OW managed to find the location of Citlali's house thanks to the Story Teaser, which showed the landscape of Natlan during one frame. Namely, Medkit-OW tried to use the cliff-side from the video to locate its matching counterpart in-game. Given that Citlali in Genshin Impact is characterized as a hermit living in a remote house, the most logical place to look was to the south of the Masters of the Night-Wind. After discovering the exact location in the Tezcatepetonco Range, Medkit-OW shared it with the rest of the Genshin Impact community on Reddit.

Nestled in the southernmost part of Mictlan territory, Citlali's house will likely be an interactive location in Genshin Impact Version 5.3. Her remote abode has officially been described as a mess of wine bottles, snacks, and shelves stuffed to bursting with light novels. Players are expected to visit its interior during the Tribal Chronicle for the Masters of the Night-Wind. From a gacha standpoint, Genshin Impact players may want to do their Citlali pulls in front of her house to bring good luck. While it won't realistically play a factor in the outcome of the pulls, there is a certain joy to be found in "wishing rituals" in Genshin Impact.
Citlali is set to feature in the first half of Version 5.3, and players will be able to wish for her from January 1, 2025. As a Shield Support character in Genshin Impact, Citlali is expected to be a valuable addition to most accounts. Her niche relates to buffing the Melt reaction, which means that Pyro characters like Arlecchino will find Citlali a desirable teammate.
