Genshin Impact players who have completed the first few chapters of Natlan's Archon Quest will be familiar with Citlali, also known as Granny Itztli. She's now a playable character in Genshin Impact, using a catalyst and a Cryo Vision. She's quite the character, with a larger-than-life personality, but also plays a very important role in the fight against the Abyss.

Players who are interested in adding Citlali to their team would do well to find her ascension materials so they can power her up as much as possible. This will take some time in Natlan, as most of Citlali's ascension mats are found there.

Citlali Leveling Materials

Citlali needs as much EXP and Mora to level up as any other character — over 8 million EXP and over 1.6 million Mora in total.

Citlali Ascension Materials

Shivada Jade is the Cryo gem used by all characters, including Citlali. Besides that, she'll also need many Natlan materials and some more Mora.

Like all Genshin Impact characters, Citlali has three skills that can be upgraded: her Normal Attack, her Elemental Skill, and her Elemental Burst.

Gemstones - Where to Find Shivada Jade

Shivada Jade is a blue gemstone used to ascend Cryo characters. Most of it is found in boss reward pools. The following bosses are those who can drop Shivada Jade when defeated:

*Azhdaha and the Primo Geovishap can only drop Shivada Jade when they're aligned with Cryo.

Local Specialty - Where to Find Quenepa Berry

Like Kachina before her, Citlali will need to find some Quenepa Berries to ascend. These are a local specialty of Natlan and are found only around the Scions of the Canopy.

Luckily, they can be grown in the Serenitea Pot or purchased from Cintli in the Stadium of Sacred Flames. He sells five of them for 5,000 Mora each, restocking every three days.

Enemy Drop - Where to Find Saurian Fangs

Trounce Materials - Denial and Judgment

The only material used in powering up Citlali that isn't found in Natlan is her trounce material. Instead, players will need to venture back to Fontaine, as the Denial and Judgment item drops only from The Knave trounce domain. This domain is unlocked by completing Arlecchino's Story Quest.
