Summary
- Chasca's English VA also voiced NPC Verr Goldet in the first act of the Version 1.0 Liyue Archon Quest.
- Some Genshin Impact VAs play different characters.
- Genshin Impact Version 5.4 is rumored to feature banners with Wriothesley.
A Genshin Impact player pointed out how Chasca's English voice actor played a popular NPC from Liyue back in Version 1.0. It has been over four years since Genshin Impact first launched, and the game's playable roster has expanded significantly since its early days.
Chasca was first introduced during Genshin Impact Version 5.0 as a Natlan character with a major role in the battle against the Abyss. Later, in Version 5.2, Chasca became a playable 5-star Anemo DPS unit. Because of her fast gameplay and powerful damage input, Chasca quickly became a fan-favorite DPS character in Genshin Impact. Players may remember how Chasca tragically lost a relative important to her during the Archon Quest. In this compelling scene, her performance in all available languages moved fans, which goes to show the talented voice actors behind the character. However, Chasca's English voice actor had previously played another Genshin Impact character, albeit in a minor role.
Genshin Impact Leaks Exciting News About New Region in 5.5
A new Genshin Impact leak reveals interesting details about a new Natlan region that should arrive in the upcoming Version 5.5.
Reddit user Ulthwe_Eldar spotted Chasca's English voice actor, Lauren Amante, playing the NPC Verr Goldet in the first act of the Liyue Archon Quest, which was released in Version 1.0. The role also appears in Amante's IMDB profile, listed next to her work as Chasca. Players first talk to Verr Goldet when looking for Xiao at the Wangshu Inn, as she is the owner of the establishment. After the quest, she can still be found in the Inn, though she no longer has a lot of voice lines. Regardless, Verr Goldet is a highly remembered NPC from Liyue, since she helps the Traveler on more than one occasion. Per earlier leaks, some Genshin Impact English voice actors may not perform their roles in the upcoming Lantern Rite, but it remains to be seen whether Verr Goldet will appear in the event.
Genshin Impact Fan Spots Chasca's VA as Ver Goldet from Version 1.0
It is not uncommon for Genshin Impact voice actors to play different characters in the game. For example, Erin Yvette, who plays Arlecchino, had previously voiced Idyia, an NPC who players met during the 2023 Summer Event. Similarly, Aether's actor, Zach Aguilar, also voices the stag Adeptus Moon Carver. Because the Natlan patch cycle is not done yet, it is possible that Chasca's voice actor could reprise this role in future updates. Genshin Impact Version 5.4 events might focus on characters from other regions, though, as earlier leaks suggested.
Genshin Impact Version 5.3 is expected to wrap up in February. The current banners feature the debut of Mavuika and Citlali, while the next will have Arlecchino and Clorinde. Genshin Impact's 5.4 banners are rumored to feature Wriothesley, whose rerun has long been requested by fans.
