A new Genshin Impact chart shows the revenue difference between the currently featured five-star characters, Xilonen and Chiori. Xilonen is the only new character introduced in the ongoing Genshin Impact Version 5.1, which was released on October 9.
HoYoverse's double banner system allows players to choose between two five-star characters at the same time, with a shared 90-wish pity count. This means that Travelers are guaranteed a five-star drop within 90 wishes. However, there is a 50% chance that the drop will contain a character from the Standard Character Banner.

With Genshin Impact’s recent introduction of the Natlan region, the game has revealed many new playable characters that are expected to join the roster in the future. Xilonen is one of these characters, and HoYoverse decided to feature her banner in the second Natlan update. An interesting chart from a popular site, Paimon.moe, has revealed the drastic sales difference between Xilonen and Chiori. According to the site, Xilonen is responsible for over 89% of the total revenue, one of the largest revenue differences in Genshin Impact’s banner history. One of the main reasons for Xilonen’s dominance is likely that she is the only new character featured in this update, and players don't feel the need to save their Primogems for the second banner cycle.
Genshin Impact: What Makes Xilonen So Good?
Another reason so many players pulled for Xilonen is that she has proven to be one of the best support characters in Genshin Impact. Many fans claim she’s even better than Kaedehara Kazuha, who has been the go-to neutral support for a large portion of the player base. Similar to Kazuha, Xilonen can provide a powerful damage buff to her whole team while simultaneously shredding enemies' resistance stats.
On top of that, Xilonen also applies a decent healing effect. Many players were skeptical about Xilonen's power on the field, considering that Genshin Impact's Geo characters are usually not as flexible compared to other supports, especially those that use the Anemo element. However, Xilonen’s ability to adapt to different types of elemental damage has made her an S-tier pick in most Genshin Impact team compositions.
While her banner colleague, Chiori, is also a solid choice for a sub-DPS or support role, she cannot compare to Xilonen’s off-field power. HoYoverse has already confirmed that the second part of Genshin Impact Version 5.1 will feature two popular characters, the fan-favorite Dendro Archon Nahida and the Pyro DPS Hu Tao.
