An interesting Genshin Impact chart shows the most owned five-star characters in the ongoing Version 5.0. Genshin Impact's playable roster can be divided into two groups based on rarity: five-star and four-star units. Five-star units are much harder to obtain since they have a 90-wish pity compared to the 10-wish pity for four-star units.
Genshin Impact runs on a gacha-based system, which allows players to acquire up to four limited five-star characters per update, two for each banner cycle. The ongoing Limited Character Banner features two five-star units: the new Dendro user Kinich and the famous Inazuma Archon, Raiden Shogun.
A Twitter user named hxg_diluc has shared a chart that shows who the most owned Genshin Impact characters are. The sample size for the poll was over 84k accounts, and it only features limited five-star characters, meaning that Standard Banner units are not part of the chart. At the top of the list with a 94.8% ownership rate is the famous Ronin from Inazuma, better known as Kaedehara Kazuha. Many fans claim they are surprised to see Kazuha at the top of the list, especially considering that his release banner did not attract too many sales compared to other banners at the time. This was because Kazuha was released in version 1.6, the last update before the major new region, Inazuma, arrived. Many fans wanted to save their Primogems for more exciting characters. Since then, Kazuha has proven to be one of the most powerful and versatile supports in Genshin Impact.

Second place on the list was taken by the popular Hydro Archon Furina, who quickly became a fan-favorite thanks to a well-designed story arc. Any other Hydro support can hardly match Furina's power on the field in Genshin Impact, as she offers tons of offensive and defensive capabilities.
She is closely followed by another Archon, Sumeru's Dendro leader Nahida. Similar to Furina, Nahida is considered one of the best supports for her respective element, and her kit can adapt to any type of team composition in Genshin Impact. Nahida is rumored to receive a rerun fairly soon, meaning her overall rank on this chart might improve in the foreseeable future.
According to the data, the fourth most owned character in Genshin Impact seems to be Liyue's Hydro user Yelan. Yelan has a unique playstyle that makes her a powerful off-field unit. The double banner featuring Yelan and Hu Tao still holds the record for attracting the largest amount of revenue in Genshin Impact.
