Genshin Impact's version 4.2 update introduces Charlotte as a 4-star playable character alongside Furina. Interestingly, she has access to quite unique abilities, including the ability to take zoomed-in pictures mid-combat for players who enjoy capturing fun scenery during their gameplay. Additionally, Charlotte is a character who can fulfill multiple roles in the team, primarily as a sub-DPS through her Elemental Skill, or as a healer through her Elemental Burst that provides party-wide healing.

While the best weapon generally depends on which role players are interested in utilizing Charlotte for, as a general rule, weapons that provide ATK or Energy Recharge will be quite suitable for her if players aim to keep her versatile and capable of fulfilling multiple roles without the need for heavy investment in her build. Here are some of the best catalyst options for Charlotte in Genshin Impact.
Honorable Mentions
This guide primarily focuses on the top weapons that suit Charlotte optimally while not sacrificing her versatility. As such, it excludes pure support or pure DPS-oriented weapons. However, those looking to utilize Charlotte as a buffer support may still want to consider a weapon option such as the Thrilling Tales Of Dragon Slayers. While its secondary stat, HP%, may not be as useful for Charlotte beyond providing added survivability, this weapon's passive ability allows the next character to take the field to increase their ATK. As such, if players are using Charlotte with a character like Wriothesley, it can still be a solid option.
On the other hand, those interested in building Charlotte as a pure sub-DPS may want to consider Yae Miko's signature weapon, Kagura's Verity, instead. With this weapon, not only will Charlotte have an added Crit DMG stat, allowing players to build DPS-oriented stats more easily, but it will also increase her Elemental Skill damage, which is the primary source of DPS for Charlotte specifically, while also potentially increasing her Elemental DMG bonus.
5 Flowing Purity

- Secondary Stat: 27.6% ATK
- R5 Effect: When using an Elemental Skill, All Elemental DMG Bonus will be increased by 16% for 15s, and a Bond of Life worth 24% of Max HP will be granted. This effect can be triggered once every 10s. When the Bond Of Life is cleared, every 1,000 HP cleared in the process will provide 4% All Elemental DMG Bonus, up to a maximum of 24%. This effect lasts 15s.

As a forgeable weapon from the Fontaine region, Flowing Purity is one of the best F2P weapon options for Charlotte. Not only does it boast an ATK secondary stat, but it will also increase her Elemental DMG Bonus upon utilizing her Elemental Skill. As such, while it is primarily a DPS-oriented weapon, since it still boasts added ATK, it is still beneficial for her healing abilities as well since her healing will also scale through her ATK values.
4 Favonius Codex

- Secondary Stat: 45.9% Energy Recharge
- R5 Effect: CRIT hits have a 100% chance to generate a small amount of Elemental Particles, which will regenerate 6 Energy for the character. Can only occur once every 6 s.
With its high Energy Recharge value, Favonius Codex is excellent for those who are looking to utilize Charlotte's Burst as often as possible, while also giving her an added functionality as a battery. However, in order to be able to do so, players will need to invest somewhat into the Crit Rate stat, which isn't inherently bad, considering this stat can be quite beneficial for her to increase her sub-DPS potential as well. It is additionally worth noting that Favonius Codex works the most consistently at R5, and especially if players don't have access to it for anything above R3, they may want to consider the other weapon options instead.
3 Oathsworn Eye

There are many 4-star characters in Genshin Impact but some stand out above the rest as the best to have on teams.
Oathsworn Eye is another F2P-friendly weapon, showcasing the same base stats as Flowing Purity. Additionally, when max refined, this weapon simply has a high Energy Recharge value surpassing Favonius Codex, and consequently, it is one of the most optimal weapons for players who primarily want to focus on ATK and Energy Recharge values specifically, to remain as versatile as possible. With that being the case, those who have been lucky enough to obtain this weapon during its limited-event period will be able to build Charlotte quite effectively while also having the room to optimize other stats through her artifacts.
2 Memory of Dust
- Primary Stat: 608 Base ATK
- Secondary Stat: 49.6% ATK
- R1 Effect: Increases Shield Strength by 20%. Scoring hits on opponents increases ATK by 4% for 8s. Max 5 stacks. Can only occur once every 0.3s. While protected by a shield, this ATK increase effect is increased by 100%.
Memory of Dust is one of the best options for Charlotte if players are interested in increasing her ATK value as much as possible. Not only does it showcase a high primary stat ATK value as well as high modifiers with its secondary stat, but its effect can further increase this ATK value upon hitting enemies. This can allow for players to focus on other stats, since otherwise the high attack can bring diminishing returns. The most important thing to consider with this weapon, however, is that it will perform best if there is a shielder in the team, as this will double the ATK increase through its effect further. If players combine this weapon with Charlotte equipping the Tenacity of the Millelith artifact set, they can create further synergy with added buffs for the team.
1 Skyward Atlas
- Primary Stat: 674 Base ATK
- Secondary Stat: 33.1% ATK
- R1 Effect: Increases Elemental DMG Bonus by 12%. Normal Attack hits have a 50% chance to earn the favor of the clouds, which actively seek out nearby opponents to attack for 15s, dealing 160% ATK DMG. Can only occur once every 30s.
Skyward Atlas is quite similar to Memory of Dust in terms of the ATK increase received through its primary and secondary stats. However, it is not as reliant on a shielder to benefit from its passive effect, allowing it to be utilized in a more versatile way and making it the best weapon option for Charlotte. In addition to increasing Charlotte's attack, this weapon will also boost her Elemental DMG bonus. It may be a more accessible option for players since it is a standard 5-star gacha pool weapon. However, it's worth noting that since Charlotte is a sub-DPS character that primarily works off-field, she won't be able to fully utilize the second part of the effect unless players perform a few normal attack hits before swapping out to ensure it can activate.
