A Genshin Impact leak has revealed the in-game model for one of the upcoming characters, the mysterious villain known as Capitano. Genshin Impact's Capitano is a member of the infamous group known as the Eleven Harbingers, powerful officers who work under the leadership of the Cryo Archon Tsaritsa within the Fatui organization.
Over the last couple of years, developer HoYoverse has followed a pattern of featuring one or two new Harbingers per major region. While the recent Fontaine arc only introduced Arlecchino as the new Harbinger, the previous Sumeru storyline featured two such characters, Scaramouche and Dottore.

Genshin Impact's recent Natlan teasers have featured many notable characters that will play a part in the upcoming storyline. One such character is the Fatui Harbinger Capitano, also known as The Captain. The game's official storyline has confirmed that Capitano is the First Fatui Harbinger, which means he is one of the most powerful characters in Genshin Impact. He made his first appearance in the "A Winter Night's Lazzo" trailer, which also revealed the designs of all the other Harbingers. A new post shared by a credible leaker named Mero has revealed Capitano's in-game model, which seems very similar to his appearance in the Natlan teaser, as he does not have the white attire that he wore during the Winter Night's Lazzo trailer.
Genshin Impact Leak Reveals Capitano Model
Many fans have pointed out that the fact Capitano's model has already been leaked indicates he should make an in-game appearance fairly soon. This comes as a surprise, considering that the first two updates after a new major patch usually serve as an introduction to the main region. Genshin Impact's storyline has confirmed that one of the game's most legendary characters, Varka, also known as the Grandmaster of the Knights of Favonius, has met Capitano during an expedition.
Even though Varka wanted to test his strength against the Harbinger, the two agreed on a peaceful departure. Previous Genshin Impact leaks have revealed that Capitano won't be the only Harbinger to appear in Natlan, as the mysterious Columbina should also be tied to the upcoming storyline.
Based on Genshin Impact's recent Natlan teasers, it's safe to assume that the main focus of the first couple of updates will be the conflict between Capitano and the new Pyro Archon, Mavuika. Many Travelers hope that HoYoverse decides to add Capitano to the roster in the future. He will likely become a playable character, considering that three Harbingers are already part of the roster.
