The daughter of the Yashiro Commission's Kamisato Clan, Ayaka, is a Cryo main DPS in Genshin Impact. When it comes to building Freeze teams, Ayaka is one of the best characters to consider because of her ease of use and DPS. Her ability to shred enemies’ Cryo and Hydro resistance by up to 55% makes her an essential partner for Ayaka when building her with a full team of Hydro and Cryo users in Genshin Impact. With the addition of Escoffier and many other variables that affect Ayaka’s build and teams, here’s an updated list of the best teams for Ayaka in Genshin Impact.

3 Ayaka + Escoffier + Shenhe + Furina

While this Ayaka team comp has some AoE to it, it mostly works against single targets. The idea here is that Escoffier, Shenhe, and Furina maximize the DMG of Ayaka’s Elemental Burst while the team works together to keep the enemy Frozen.

Both Escoffier and Shenhe reduce enemies’ resistance to Cryo DMG by a whopping 70%, leaving the opponent with low resistance. On the other hand, Furina and Shenhe greatly increase Ayaka’s Cryo DMG. All that will guarantee an insane amount of DMG every time Ayaka unleashes her Frostflake Seki no To.

2 Ayaka + Kazuha + Shenhe + Kokomi

For a more AoE team for Ayaka in Genshin Impact, add Kokomi, who has a large off-field Hydro application. Make sure to infuse Kazuha’s Elemental Burst with Kokomi’s Hydro, and the duo will apply Hydro to the entire battlefield for a few seconds. Players can still trigger Cryo Swirls and collect scattered enemies in one place when using Kazuha’s Elemental Skill later.

Stepping away from the Morgana teams in Genshin Impact, Ayaka can deal massive DMG with her Elemental Burst if she has access to multiple Melt reactions. Players can do that by adding one Dendro and another Pyro character that can constantly trigger the Burning reaction. This reaction will keep regenerating the Pyro aura on enemies, no matter how many times Ayaka’s Elemental Burst consumes it. Not only that, but the quick Pyro and Cryo applications, back to back, will allow more Melt reactions to be triggered.

In this Ayaka team, she shouldn't have the Blizzard set as her artifact choice. Instead, go for Emblem of Severed Fate or Gilded Dreams since there are no Hydro units in the team to freeze enemies.
