10 Vanarana
The New Home Of The Aranaras

Vanarana is the smallest area ranked here, but it has a certain charm that makes it one of the best areas in the game. The ability to switch the state of Vanarana and the existence of Aranaras alone warrant it a spot in the top ten.
It also features some beautiful and peculiar terrain. A good portion of the Aranyaka World Quest also takes place in this area. Getting to interact with the Aranaras and completing side quests to help them out makes Vanarana an extremely wholesome and fun area to visit.
9 Tsurumi Island
The Forgotten Island

Tsurumi Island is loaded with important lore about Inazuma's past. It is home to one of the saddest World Quests in the game, and the whole area has a very melancholic feel to it. The remnants of the Thunderbird Civilization still remain intact for the players to explore.
Tsurumi Island also has a lot of enemies and in-game content to complete. While the amount of Remarkable Chests on this island may frustrate players, it is undeniable that Tsurumi Island is one of the best-designed areas in the game from a visual standpoint.
8 Toyac Springs

Toyac Springs is the latest region introduced to Genshin Impact with the release of Natlan. It is home to the People of the Springs tribe and consists of very immersive exploration mechanics.
The spiritway challenges are the hallmarks of this area, which can be completed by using Mualani or a Koholasaurus. It is also a gorgeous area filled with inviting hot springs and a vibrant hub where the inhabitants of the area live.
7 Hypostyle Desert

Hypostyle Desert is one of the most loaded areas in Genshin Impact when it comes to in-game content. The sheer amount of terrain that can be explored, and the marvelous architecture make the Hypostyle Desert an incredible area to traverse.
The exterior part of the Hypostyle Desert is mesmerizing with rolling sand dunes and pyramids. The interior part, upon entering the Mausoleum of King Deshret, features interactive puzzles and remnants of King Deshret's civilization which add a real grandeur to the Hypostyle Desert.
6 Dragonspine

Dragonspine is one of the oldest regions in Genshin Impact. However, it has stood the test of time and continues to be one of the best areas in the game. The Sheer Cold mechanic, often annoying, adds a realistic feel while exploring the area.
The ruins of Sal Vindagnyr, the catchy soundtrack, and the extensive in-game content make Dragonspine worthy of a spot on this list.

To top it all off, the Opera Epiclese is a majestic building where some of the most iconic moments in the game's story have taken place.
3 The Chasm: Underground Mines

The Chasm was one of the most anticipated areas at the time of its release and the area did not disappoint one bit. While the Chasm's exterior is a great area in its own right, the underground mines are where the real deal is. It is one of the creepiest and most unsettling areas in the game.
