Beidou is one of the easiest characters to build in Genshin Impact. She’s so versatile she can basically work with any artifact and weapon. Mostly because Beidou is the kind of character that benefits from every stat.
To elaborate more, her HP buffs the shield she gets from Stormbreaker, and her Elemental Mastery enhances all the reactions she’ll trigger. As for the best Claymore for Beidou in Genshin Impact, players have a wide variety of weapons to choose from since Beidou can handle any job.
Updated March 16, 2023, by Nahda Nabiilah: Beidou is one of the few Genshin Impact characters that's available upon release and is still dominating the meta. Other examples would include units like Xingqiu, Xiangling, and Bennett, the trio who would bring a lot of values to their team. Considering the never ending popularity of Beidou, it's no surprise if players continuously seek suitable equipment for her. When it comes to The Crux Captain, she fits with a large variety of weapon, so this article is updated to include some more options.
11 Blackcliff Slasher
- Primary Stat: 510 Base ATK
- Secondary Stat: 55.1% CRIT DMG
- R5 Effect: After defeating an opponent, ATK is increased by 24% for 30s. This effect has a maximum of 3 stacks, and the duration of each stack is independent of the others.
Blackcliff Slasher may not be optimal for an off-field sub-DPS like Beidou (since its passive will hardly trigger), but it's still decent thanks to its offensive stat. Additionally, since this Claymore is obtainable for F2P players and is useful for many characters, it has a high investment value.
10 Sacrificial Greatsword
- Primary Stat: 565 Base ATK
- Secondary Stat: 30.6% Energy Recharge
- R5 Effect: After dealing damage to an opponent with an Elemental Skill, the skill has an 80% chance to end its own CD. Can only occur once every 16s.
Sacrificial Greatsword is great to help Beidou regain her Elemental Burst. In exchange for her immense power, the Pirate Captain has a demanding Energy requirement which means players' top priority should be having enough Energy Recharge. However, it's best to not use this Claymore at low refinement as it won't fit nicely in her rotation.
9 Luxurious Sea Lord
- Primary Stat: 454 Base ATK
- Secondary Stat: 55.1% ATK
- R5 Effect: Increases Elemental Burst DMG by 24%. When Elemental Burst hits opponents, there is a 100% chance of summoning a huge onrush of tuna that deals 200% ATK as AoE DMG. This effect can occur once every 15s.
Although Luxurious Sea Lord is a F2P weapon, it’s still a decent Genshin Impact 4-star weapon Beidou can wield. On R5, The fishy Claymore increases Beidou’s Elemental Burst by 24%. That’s very good considering Beidou’s best talent is her Burst. On top of that, Luxurious Sea Lord will also summon an AoE attack every 15 seconds that inflict up to 200% of Beidou’s ATK.
8 Rainslasher
- Primary Stat: 510 Base ATK
- Secondary Stat: 165 Elemental Mastery
- R5 Effect: Increases DMG against opponents affected by Hydro or Electro by 36%.
Rainslasher is a solid pick for Beidou in Genshin Impact. The weapon increases Beidou’s DMG overall against enemies affected by Hydro and Electro, which only works in team comps that focus on Electro-charge reactions. Rainslasher also grants Beidou 165 Elemental Mastery that further increases her Electro-related reactions. Players can still build Beidou on CRIT build to maximize her Elemental Burst DMG and benefit from the extra DMG on her reactions.
7 Lithic Blade
- Primary Stat: 510 Base ATK
- Secondary Stat: 41.3% ATK
- R5 Effect: For every character in the party who hails from Liyue, the character who equips this weapon gains an 11% ATK increase and 7% CRIT Rate increase. This effect stacks up to 4 times.
Lithic Blade is extremely limited because of its passive that forces players to play only Genshin Impact Liyue characters to build the Claymore’s passive. On R5, Lithic Blade can end up giving Beidou around 84% ATK and 28% CRIT Rate. A solid stats that can massively improve the impact that Beidou brings to the field when she unleashes her Stormbreaker.
6 Skyward Pride
- Primary Stat: 674 Base ATK
- Secondary Stat: 36.8% Energy Recharge
- Effect: Increases all DMG by 8%. After using an Elemental Burst, Normal or Charged Attack, on hit, creates a vacuum blade that does 80% of ATK as DMG to opponents along its path. Lasts for 20s or 8 vacuum blades.
Skyward Pride is amazing for Beidou if players are struggling with her Energy requirement. Its passive is useless since she should stay as a sub-DPS, but the 8% universal DMG bonus is bound to be useful.
5 Akuoumaru
- Primary Stat: 510 Base ATK
- Secondary Stat: 41.3% ATK
- R5 Effect: For every point of the entire party's combined maximum Energy capacity, the Elemental Burst DMG of the character equipping this weapon is increased by 0.24%. A maximum of 80% increased Elemental Burst DMG can be achieved this way.
Akuoumaru is rarely talked about, but it’s an excellent weapon for any character that depends on their Elemental Burst in Genshin Impact. On R5, Akuoumaru can grant Beidou up to 80% extra DMG on her Stormbreaker. However, to reach this insane buff, players have to meet the condition of including characters with 80+ energy requirements inside Beidou’s team compositions.
4 The Unforged
- Primary Stat: 608 Base ATK
- Secondary Stat: 49.6% ATK
- Effect: Increases Shield Strength by 20%. Scoring hits on opponents increases ATK by 4% for 8s. Max 5 stacks. Can only occur once every 0.3s. While protected by a shield, this ATK increase effect is increased by 100%.
The Unforged's passive only stacks when the wielder is on-field, so it's not very useful for a sub-DPS like Beidou. Nevertheless, it's still a great stat stick, so it almost always do well. If players don't own a better alternative, than a universal stat-stick like 
The Unforged can be a great investment.
3 Serpent Spine
- Primary Stat: 510 Base ATK
- Secondary Stat: 27.6% CRIT Rate
- R5 Effect: Every 4s a character is on the field, they will deal 10% more DMG and take 2% more DMG. This effect has a maximum of 5 stacks and will not be reset if the character leaves the field, but will be reduced by 1 stack when the character takes DMG.
Serpent Spine is easily one of Beidou's best weapons in Genshin Impact. However, it’s not easy to operate Beidou with the battle pass Claymore, especially if she’s operating as an off-field Sub-DPS. Beidou won’t have any field time, and she will mostly take three seconds to cast her Skill and Burst.
2 Redhorn Stonethresher
- Primary Stat: 542 Base ATK
- Secondary Stat: 88.2% CRIT DMG
- Effect: DEF is increased by 28%. Normal and Charged Attack DMG is increased by 40% of DEF.
Redhorn Stonethresher is useless on most Claymore users in Genshin Impact. Yet, its high stats save this weapon from being neglected by everyone. The decent Base stat and the crazy 88% CRIT DMG put Redhorn Stonethresher among the best Claymores in Genshin Impact. While Beidou doesn’t benefit from Redhorn’s passive, she still can use its stat to enhance her gameplay.
