Barbara is one of the first healers players will get in Genshin Impact. This unit will be given for free once players finish the first few quests, so new Travelers won't have to fight without a healer. However, even though everyone will have Barbara, some may not have enough copies to maximize her Constellations.

This can be unfortunate as Barbara has a highly useful sixth Constellation, making her enhancement a decent thing to aim for in Genshin Impact.

Are Barbara’s Constellations Worth It In Genshin Impact?

Although Barbara’s Constellations focus on enhancing her supportive abilities and cooldown, it is unnecessary for her to operate as a healer. Barbara is already a great Support on her own without Constellations. However, having her last Constellation gives her an advantage over other healers in Genshin Impact.

C1 - Gleeful Songs

Effect: Barbara regenerates 1 Energy every 10s.
Importance: Low

Barbara's Elemental Burst is like an emergency button. It requires 80 Energy to cast and takes a long time to recharge again since Barbara can’t battery herself in Genshin Impact. So it’s somewhat useful to have C1 Barbara regenerate energy while not in battle, but it doesn’t really add anything in combat, especially in the Abyss.

C2 - Vitality Burst

Effect: Decreases the CD of Let the Show Begin by 15%. During the ability's duration, your active character gains a 15% Hydro DMG Bonus.
Importance: High

Decreasing the cooldown of C2 Barbara’s Elemental Skill is essential for her healing. Since her Elemental Burst takes ages to be used again, Barbara needs her Skill to keep her team healed and ready. In addition, her Elemental Skill adds 15% Hydro DMG to the active character, giving her the ability to better support other Hydro characters, like Childe and Ayato.

C4 - Attentiveness be My Power

Effect: Every opponent Barbara hits with her Charged Attack regenerates 1 Energy for her. A maximum of 5 energy can be regenerated in this manner with anyone Charged Attack.
Importance: Medium

Apart from Barbara’s first Constellation, C4 Barbara regenerates energy more effectively as she heals her team during her Elemental Skill. After all, her Charged Attacks heal more, so her fourth Constellation will raise the importance of using her Charged Attack while her Skill is active.

C6 - Dedicating Everything to You

Effect: When Barbara is in the party but not on the field, and one of the party members falls. Automatically revives the fallen character. Fully restores the revived character's HP to 100%. This effect can only occur once every 15 minutes.
Importance: Priority

C6 Barbara has one of the rarest passives in Genshin Impact. Currently, only Qiqi and Barbara are able to revive fallen allies. This ability can be essential in Abyss, especially when Barbara’s team contains some squishy members.
